Raiding Videos

This is one of our many wipes on phase 2. We handled the first Val'kyr and Defile pretty good, however wiped on second.
Please excuse my poor performance here, it was my first attempt ever, I joined the raid later and the way how we execute it hasnt been explained. (not complaining, just explaining) so I was learning the fight on the fly (although having seen it on YT before).
I was shooting Traquilizing shot at Shambling Horrors, that was fine but I messed the spirit adds on transition phase - I wasn't attacking tham almost at all and only standing there idle waiting for orbs. I died stupid death - I somehow managed to overaggro Aldaren (is there an aggro reset after transition phase?). I am not quite happy to post here a video in which I suck so much but since it was our best attempt, here you go

Thanks for the upload Dfe - good video.

Phase 1, the transition and the first Valkyr + Defile are all handled very well. The thing that cost us there was Soul Reaper on the main tank, a mechanic that we've since learned to deal with a lot better, generally using tank cooldowns and taunting to better effect.

46% remains our best attempt, we seem to be getting the Valkyr and Defile rotation into place. Kingslayers soon

PS - I didn't realise my keyboard was THAT loud.

PPS - I like the way we all ignore Whitéy when he joins the channel!

Btw, the music choice is HORRIBLE!!!  How deos it even remotely coincide with WoW?

Well, if it doesn't have pounding Techno or death metal, it isn't a WoW video to be honest

What this video doesn't show is what happens inside Frostmourne. Basically, LK casts Harvest Soul on a raid member, and if they survive the DoT, which is likely, they're transported inside Frostmourne, where they then have to assist King Terenas.

Once inside, healers have to heal King Terenas or a DPS class has to nuke the spirit he's fighting, seems quite straight forward.

Nice videos, they definately help. It was my first time in on the LK and it seemed really controlled until the defile and even that was getting better as we had more attempts.

Didnt saw a lot of mistakes that vid, all alive just before the beserk timer, I guess changing one healer for a DPS would help a lot and the DPS just need to do a tad more and we will down her. Nice job guys!

Still way too much fails on iceblocks, we could definitly improve there... and those mirror images are kinda confusing, also had some troubke which gond to bite at BQ,,,

Did you record the kill from yesterday? Much smoother there. If i remember correctly.

yes, I did, but: 1) it wasnt the first kill 2) you wouldnt see a lot from phase 3 because I was ice blocked 6 times
But you are right that it was so much more controlled
