You are a moderator of the ArmaII forum so AFAIK you should have the permissions. Pls check and let me know if not and I'll bump it up to those more cleverer than I.

Ok.

At the bottom of the thread to the right you should be moderation tools.

You can't make a post first without stickying it. Unstickying is donw the same way.

Go to the forum  view and use the tick box on the right hand side for the thread you want to sticky. At the bottom right of the page you'll see moderation tools and from there you can sticky and unsticky the ticked threads (as well as lock them etc).

The order if stickies is based on post date, so newer posted threads will appear above others, oldest is always the last stickied thread.

Now aware that you can change the order of posts as they are time/date based too.  The solution is to delete the first two posts in the thread.
