Well as anyone who was there will know, Wednesdays nights raid was possibly the shortest raid Any of us have ever been on (although i think MC these days is faster :narnar:).

Main issues that went wrong seemed to partly be caused by the patch, obviously with the Blizz servers trying to funnel data to millions of players to get them going again and running raids and new HC's and old content some people experienced lag or other issues (also out of date addons caused one player issues), the only suggestion I have to combat this is to get your patch download (i know some work so dont flame me) at least an hour before the raid and to let it completely finish downloading (dont log on at available or even partly green bar as ive noticed sever play loss issues even then) as this will also allow you time to go find the new addons you require.

Also as was pointed out, most players hearts wernt in the raid due to the new shiney content (which is good ill add) which is our fault for choosing patch day to raid, for this the only thing i can suggest is that we have the raids a diffrent day when large patches such as this are coming in? maybe fridays or Thursdays (we would need to fill out the raid with new people so as to not interfere with RGT).

Aside from those technical issues and shineys the one main issue that stuck was our reliance upon certain people for jobs, for this i will name legolie (not in bad way if ure reading this) as every week we rely on him to handel the Magmaw adds and Pillar of fire location ETC, now due to his absence we first tryed using a tank for this (bad idea as damage is too high) and then having other ranged hold the spot, this should have been a relativly simple fight and been down in 15min tops (we have farmed him 1/2 shots at least for a month now), however due to our reliance on lego for that role others where unsure how to proceed in the Role themselves, as Slush/dreaman (not sure who they sound same to me) said, you should be aware of any roll you can carry out as well as what other roles should be doing, (tanking and Melee were spot on from what i saw and i cant comment on healing or ranged although the ranged DPS lacked on Adds).

Things we all need to do are to Learn what other roles we could be asked to do (as what if lego is missing again? we cant just have him do it constantly) and what your team mates should also do as well as finding a second tank (as slush said he isnt always around and he is tied to RGT) and some reserve ranged (no more melee we have more then enough), As was said in TS/raid chat we can advertise in Guild chat once every 5minutes with Web address and ask for applications.

Thats pretty much all of it summed up.

Think its fair to say for the past 2 weeks we've been struggling for numbers too! Esp Tanks.

Which is why we've recommended appointment of several people to use our 'approved' recruitment wording in Trade periodically (but not too often) through the day/evening.  We solve numbers problems by recruiting - when we did this a week or so ago we had a nice spike in applications so we need to do it again to fill those last slots.

Unfortunately, we have some people who said they were interested in RGW but have failed to show up consistently, so we will need to recruit and replace those unexpected vacancies to ensure RGW has the numbers to succeed.

Let's take into account that Easter and bank hols may have impacted on our attendance . We have also had subs giving flexibility on different fights. Ideally another healer and another two tanks.    I see a day in the future dkp works and we have people moaning that they are being left out as rgw is full

Also keep in mind that current attendance will fall off over the summer & holiday months, so any raid group will need additional people to support the raid over those leaner months.  This happens every year, it will happen again this year, so it helps to have more onboard to ensure the raid continues.

I'm sorry to hear that the raiding failed. Big Patch nights always make the server shaky, but fortunately, they are only two or three times a year, so I see no reason to change our regular nights for the very occasional patch.

We'll show Magmaw monday that he should not hope to wipe us regularly. :dmw:

As for recruiting, hopefully Jas will setup a description in the Guild Finder. A lot of people will probably look at it while it is new. He just has to keep it short, long descriptions are cut off.
