Treach

I'm trying to start a fitness regime for myself and I have had this great idea: Before every gaming night I have I have to do some excercise. Right now it's only a short jog as I've just started again but I plan to get back to the 30-45 min runs I used to do.

It could be nice if other's pick it up as well, knowing someone else is doing the same thing can really help motivate you.

Also I find doing excersise is a good way to clear your head of stuff, helps you turn your concentration on. As well as helping you feel good I find affects my gaming.  Plus a healthy body does give you slightly better brain use and reactions. SMall difference but really puts you on form.

Or you could convince your wife/gf to have sex each night before the raid.  Use this chart to work out how long you need to have sex for to burn off the desired calorific value.

GL with the running though.

vladic

i do weights every night as lower body im fine (i must walk about 4 miles a day lol)

Azunai

push/situps alternating them every 2 nights (right before bed though, so not before raiding ;-) . So Day 1 pushups, day 3 situps, day 5 pushups etc. And I go out jogging during weekends :-)

Also, that chart is *hilarious*!

or Garrit, or Torgen. Also, Livestream.

Arcticfire

I do 100 situps a day, then another 50 per side. So 50 left, 100 middle, 50 right. Then I do (quick)push ups(from the knees, not feet) till I really cant. Should only take 10mins max.

Watch out: hot showers will make you feel very relaxed, and a sleepy tank is quite dangerous! :P

P.S.:ok, basically from that chart the best thing to lose calories are fake orgasms... not to mention trying to explain after having been caught cheating, it seems! :D

How you doing on this Treach? We be paying attention! :-)
Hope you got started on something good.

Jog is an excellent idea by the way.
What I did, when I started my own programme, was competing vs. myself.
Programme consists of 4 days per week/ 15-45 mins each day.

A1) Find a short lap (15-45 mins, depends on how fit you are) - Jog as far as you can(maybe only a few mins if thats the best you can do), walk the rest.
A2) Next Jog-day; Do the same... but watch the timer. You do not want to be slower than the day before.
A3) Keep pushing the time.. not too far, maybe only a few seconds each Jog-day... remember the days ahead.. you have to do better every single day.
Keep it at 2 Jog-days per week. Atleast the first months.

A week later:
B1) I started doing sit-ups and push-ups. Started with 10 of each.
B2) Next Ups-day... I added 1 sit-up and 1 push-up
B3) I kept adding one of each every Ups-day.
Keep it at 2 Ups-day per week, or the increasing number of exersises will skyrocket too fast.

Competing vs yourself is what excersising is all about. Its not how much you do, but that you have the guts to jog on a rainy sunday night in mid-november when the wind is cold and you feel like you are the only one outside...
Its he challenge itself burns the most.

And always remember... Something is better than nothing, so if you loose one day... You will win the next!

Edit: You know what... I think im gonna start doing this again. Been a long time... :-)

Fatdog

my trick to stay fit is.. get yaself a black wolf.. :D
I have one of my own

if ya are unfit get a young one. and start slow with short and slow walks. if ya are in pretty good shape get a grown up..
the black wolf loves to run, jump and long, long walks/runs on the country side or in townareas. they also love to swim.. :flirty:
they love the outdoors even if its raining or snowing and they dont mind sunshine either..

they are more of a company then mashines in gyms and its more fun to run with then run alone
so get one and try to keep up with it.. they can run for hours and still have hours left in them for more running...

and eat healthy but good food. a party now and then :) enjoy life and laff a lot. that is my trick... :yahoo:

Grimnar

Or to get it more easier:narnar:
