Even though we're going to be a Sith guild, that doesn't mean we have to make Evil decisions - apparently it's possible to be completely on the Lightside yet still play Sith.
So how will you play yours?

Vargen

I will play my char like a true assassin. Appearing to be a law abiding citizen outward, but taking full advantage of the tools at my disposal. The standard power hungry politician I guess ;)

What's this lightside thing you keep talking about :)

It depends on the situation on offer. Mainly darkside choices for me tho'

vladic

depending on rewards mostly, however im considering playing mid way (as am asusming there will be bonuses for being nutral as well? as there were in the original KOTOR games this is based upon) so grey if possible :DD otherwise im gna be darkside :)

From what we've seen in beta now, I couldn't see any benefit to being neutral. Also in many situations you only had 2 choices, light/dark. Both factions have vendors that sell items requireing a certain level of dark/light points. Haven't seen any other benefits so far, but then I didn't play further then lvl20.

Agree with Vargen on this and don't see there any point in trying to stay neutral. I did have a quick look at the gear for both dark and light sides but am not sure really what is the real benefit of being either side. Am sure there might be a forum thread about this and gives some further details, like: The light side gear is better for healing classes. or The dark side is better for tanks.

Neutral has no benefits in game at the moment, but is being looked at for release date as it's not a too complex amend (apparently).

The dark/light gear difference mostly looked cosmetic and quest part specific e.g. help the farmers kill some raiders vs scalp raiders for gold from farmers

Gorion

There are some cosmetic changes as well.

Upon reaching darkside1, my red eyes turned amberish - didn't like that at all.

Wonder what will happen to my eyes considering i went for cybernetics :D and neutral should be usable I mean a proffesional bounty hunter wouldnt really be evil, just indifferent (grey)....or like me you could take the option to shoot the kids dad infront of him for kicks lol :D
