Something gentle for your Sunday morning!

TL.
Wisdom doesn\'t necessarily come with age. Sometimes age just shows up all by itself.  (Tom Wilson)

I've been listening to the new Queens Of The Stone Age album this week, and it's rather good indeed. Effortless groove.

Hero of the Battle Of Chalkeia
"Don\'t worry, none of this blood is mine"

Today I have been listening to

NIN new track

And then on to some classic NIN

"It's hard, but not as hard as Arma!!!" Tutonic
"Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon.." Terry Pratchett

Chaosphere

Something nice and chilled for the hot weather...

Although drinking a cold beer is optional, it is highly recommended.

Nice track that, not listened to anything of theirs before but might go check out their album.   Thanks for the video Chaosphere!

After reading an article by Knut Schreiner (Writer, walking musical encyclopedia, but perhaps more known as the guitar god Euroboy from Turbonegro) today, I've been listening to the works of Burt Bacharach, particularly the Hal David / Dionne Warwick collaborations. There's some hidden genious to some of his compositions. Stuff you just don't notice under the easy listening exterior, not until you sit down and really listen. The true sound of the 60's :D

Going to one of her concerts in Holland next year

funnily enough I came across a couple more of her songs and thought they were pretty good:

not a bad cover song:

Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

Hope you like Circa TL, they are a phenomenal band :D

And now, get some djent in your ears. Djentleman's music, this. And from rainy old Sheffield too!

NoFX. Yes, it's peter pan punk moment again, refusing to grow up. Beers and pizza on a sunday with the tunes of my youth.

This is an 18 minute epic discussing the decline of the american society. Quite worth it just for the lyrics, but it does it all with the famous NoFX blend of hardcore punk and trying to hide their excessive musical skills. Quick transition, sharp puns and plenty of pure rage :D

This is the best cover for 'Stairway' I've heard in years.
