After the sad loss of Dreaman as RL of RGW, I have been given the responsibility as the "new" RL. Something I’ve looked forward to be given the chance to do but also slightly nervous.

Its best to work as a team, obviously....
Sithy and I were Drea's backup to assist him where we could. Sithy will be doing the same and helping me and also Sharpfang. Between the 3 of us we will lead RGW to clearance of DS, and the sooner the better! So please help us to help you by listening, being prepared and performing at your best So read up on the forums,it only take 20mins for a bit of research and its all on here so theres no excuse. We provide food and flasks but if at a later date we are rotating peeps you will need to bring your own flasks and pots,which you should do anyway.

There are a few things I would like to say which I think will help us progress abit quicker than we currently are and address some of the issues that Drea and others felt were wrong with RGW.

As i said teamwork is what is required for us to get the progression and clearance we want!..If 1 or 2 people aren't pulling their weight the other 8 suffer... RGW is suffering atm from a few things, which i'd like to get resolved asap.

TEAMSPEAK.....Its required for raiding to have TS and be logged in. WE need EVERYONE to talk on TS. There are several people that never talk and this cannot happen anymore. I can understand you may be shy, your english may not be the best....Im not asking for you to chat all night like Vladic all im asking for is a couple of things to be said.... YES.   NO.    SAY AGAIN? 3 things so simple,yet powerful....Are you ready?....yes/no....do u have pots?...yes/no....after explaining tactics for a boss and u missed something....say again?. We use TS for a reason, to communicate quickly...if a question is asked its so much quicker just saying yes rather than typing. Once you have said a couple of things your confidence will grow and you will probably end up chatting more which is only a good thing.

Talking is important but listening is more important! In last nights raid we were constantly asking Hermi questions with no response until we typed in raid chat.Then she admited she wasnt listening to TS. Thats why I moved you hermi out of the raid as its not fair on the others....Last night over the whole raid we wasted about 12-13minutes waiting for replies from you...over 2 raid nights thats 25 mins....thats a boss kill and a few attempts on a new boss. It cant happen. Im sorry for pointing you out but in my eyes this is slack and you are letting 9 others down.

Movement and responding to calls on TS....i know im not perfect but im alot better compared to my early raiding days Alot of people need to react quicker to calls on TS from Sharp or myself, to move away, spread, group up etc. The new boss we are on we weren’t grouping up quick enough and other things...We shouldn’t call it,you should use your addons to realise what you need to do next. Quick responses and quick movement will help us alot!

Im sorry this sounds like a moan,it is and it isn’t i just want a few issues resolved so we can get all the kills and gear we want and deserve.

We have a nice raid setup now but i feel we could do with a couple more to join our ranks...If tyzo doesn’t show up then we need another Pally tank with dps OS and another ranged dps pref a lock or hunter. This will give the RG just a few extra options depending on which boss and also if people cant make the raid as currently we have no “spare” dps or tanks, so if 1 isnt on we have to use an RGT alt which in my eyes we shouldn’t. SO with a couple new members to the group hopefully this wont happen...We have been recruiting in trade and via the website but if u have friends that are interested get them to apply!

If we do have an extra couple of people we will have to start benching people....it is currently happening with the healers and will happen with other classes if we have the numbers. We will try and work to your needs, gear wise on bosses. If you are benched it will only be for 1 or 2bosses and will be rotated fairly so don’t be grumpy about it and log off or anything

about the TS, when I started playing CS:CZ on the BoD server(for the veterans ) I heard everyone talking, I was like..hmm this sounds great and is usefull, but I didnt have a pair to talk already except certain words. People will be like heyyy who is this at the start but when it gets normale you will feel more comfortable and others will get used to it and it will make the game alot easier. As Switch said, alot is being said in TS and by replying in TS "we" know you are listening. As Switch said aswell, a yes...no or...maybe or what? Should be enough to make him happy, and when you are used to it you will find yourself getting comfortable and maybe talk more its not needed and probably wont be asked for, but it does give you a step before people that dont talk, especially on end game bosses.

Nice post Switch.  I hope RGW take it in the constructive manner in which it is delivered.

As a RL for RGT, I can say that imho this is the single biggest difference between RGT and RGW.   Everyone in RGT talks and LISTENS on TS which allows so much more raid speed and a quicker adoption of tactics.  It also means that you can adapt to things mid-fight.

Not sure if RGW want to try it, but in RGT we try to hand out responsibilities for calling different things to different people.   Healers often control movement as a 'marked person', CDs are often assigned to be called by a DPS, tanks call various CDs or movements etc.  It means people gain ownership of the fight, it's not just the whole weight of the raid on the RL's shoulders.  I'd love to see RGW progress to this stage too!

Last raid i forgot to talk .. shame on me :g: but i didnt have anything to say either so.. and I do agree about the stuff ya said Switch fair rotations and bench and above all read up know ya char.. install ya addons.. if ya dont get it.. ask.. bring ya food and flasks and pots. how hard is that to do? . and we do need to team up .. we are a bit scattered as group.. yeah Im not always the best. but i do try and i been raiding for a while now in DMR .. and what TL said.. Everyone in RGT talks and LISTENS .. listen to what to do is the key.. if ya read up and the listen we gonna go far. and above all have more fun on raids.. lets not waist the little time we have each week at waiting for stuff that should be fixed before raid.

For those nervous on TS, consider that we're all buddies and no one's gonna laugh at a funny voice or w/e. For one I feel a lot more connected to those I speak to on TS, it's a lot more fun to get to know people by actually talking to them instead of typing in a chat screen.

As for what to say/do during raids: I'd say come hang in the RGT channel during one of our raids, so you get an idea of how it goes with us :-)

I agree to everyting you say. Also we have just recruited a RL mate of mine, Cynba who is a hunter. He does listen and speak on TS plus he's got skills so he will be a great adition to RGW.
And what TL said about deviding tasks amongst healers and dps for certain things. We have been doing this on he DPS end with Sharp or myself calling out whatever movement needs to be done.
On the healer side we've always had Dre calling this out, and now Switch will be taking this over so as far as this goes, i think we have it sorted.

Imo we'll be taking on DW in 2 weeks max, so let's get ourselves prepared and get some nice progress going guys!

Just want to say again the main issue we have is TS....as ive said in my post what i would like but please really take note of what Azunai/Garrit/Torgen wrote... We are all friends here,there will be no laughing about accents etc and once you start talking the confidence grows and the grp seems more "whole" in my experience. Also as he says pop into the raid channel when RGT are raiding....You will learn alot from listening to these chaps

 what I said on TS: hello - yes - and with a little more courage, a "torgen next" in a FL raid .....  4 words in almost a year.
 You are absolutely right and I assure you that every night I promise myself to try to talk a little bit more.
 the last raid, I distracted trying to configure decourse and I did not hear / understand what you were saying (I finally realized the problem, was not ticked the "show removable debuf " in the settings of the game)
  This evening I have been experimenting with the volume of the game, set ambience, music and fx .. now I hope to understand a little better.
believe me .. Im sorry that I have been a burden to the raid, and you have done well to get me out......

Im not playing and raiding right now, but I can really identify with Switchback and Tealeaf on the TS issue. At a certain point far back, eons ago ofc, I also did not participate in RGT chat and it came to misunderstandings and hickups which cost precious raiding time. I got some infusions by Tealeaf at that time and I had to confess to myself that he was right :ranting2:! Bloody B:!!!!

That I lost my wow mojo a little bit later had nothing to do with it. Anyways, raided once or twice with RGW and the first thing I noted: little intense exchange about the tactics.
My mojo remains lost in a Fermi lake, so I did not bother to touch on that topic, but I think it would help you guys to improve on your progress very much, if you would have a more vital exchange about the ups/downs, oops, poops/hoops and so on on raid chat.

Go out there kill something and have fun...

First of all GL to being the new RL, I've just joined the guild & only did 2 raids but so far you guys doing great . About TS, completely agree. For me, the more confident I am with a certain fight the more I'll talk (unless it's a real easy fight ). Like tonight I also tried calling out which drake to target etc..
