I thunk you should decide on the limit as you have the experience of raids that I certainly don't. Whatever number allows people in a group to raid often but is still enough to cover people being away with RL stuff would be the target. Hopefully if we can get two groups running at a similar level then we can borrow reserves from one group to fill missing slots in the other. It also means we can run 16 slots OP's.

I think Smilodon has a good point here if you have your set group to say 10 and you only have 2 healers and one or 2 cant make it then the run wont be able to go ahead with out recruting players from other areas. It would be a shame that the hard mode group then got the healers from the second group to go and so by stopping the other 6 or 7 players in the second group from raiding. Need to think carefully that it benifits both groups and possibly what nights both groups raid on.

For example if you had need of a healer on the Thursday and take one from the second group and the second group raids on a Friday and were not doing normals to lock the Friday run that would work well.

There's pluses and minuses to raiding on different nights, worth a discussion. Also I would not suggest the first group can demand players from the second. I hope that in time the two groups (and any more we might make) will not be ranked in any way. If one group is short and the other has a player on reserve who can fill that role they should be able to swap groups for a night and help out. I agree with Gortex that it would be wrong for a group to take a player that stopped the other group from raiding that night.

Also bear that the current group is going to star hardmodes so the 2nd group members would be behind in terms of experience and equipment so until they are in colomni at minimum they wouldnt be usable as reserves for the Hard/nightmaremodes, also the current members for hardmodes are embmers who are currently free every thursday with a reserve tank and DPS already selected.

Until more are ready those reserves will have to suffice :)

Normal and Hard/Nightmare have separate lockouts. You can do both, though I see little point in doing normal at all if you have done some hard mode flashpoints after you dinged.

The only point to do this is for achievements, as doing an FP for the first time in hard mode does not grant any normal mode ones - if you're an achievement have to do both.
