Despite your disagreement my word on this is final. If you decide to disobey and admin you will be Warned, then Kicked. If you feel that you're above the rules of the server that I manage and that the admins enforce, then you will be treated accordingly as I have indicated.

I considered deleting your post as all you've done is pick it apart in order to continue to stand on your soap-box whilst you pretend to know better. It's easy to criticise. As you seem to have trouble understanding, I'll make it clear for you:

The admins and I run the server, not you. We decide the rules, not you.

I'm surprised that a long standing member like yourself does not see the sense in this and can accept it. But as you seem to feel you are above it all and know better, your actions will result in a reaction from the admins as I have outlined above. I am also disappointed that a long standing member like yourself has chosen to continue to fan the flames after I told you directly in a PM not to. I will be bringing this up with the Community Admins.

Also, as you refuse to play by the rules as set out by the BF3 server Game Leader and Admins, with immediate effect your BF3 badge is revoked and you have now lost the right to wear your dMw tag in game.

Yes i have previously stated that ill keep doing what i do(merely to emphasize that i felt that it was wrong, probably the wrong way), but to revoke my BF3 status surprises me greatly..
I stand by the codes of conduct of the community and have always abided by them and you know it.. So i would abide rules set out by BF3 community.. Tho i still wouldnt agree.
So to actually revoke my status as i havent dont anything wrong is absolutely our of order in my book.

Player Warnings, Kicks or Bans can only be issued by an Admin. A list of the Admins can be found in each gaming section.

Ninja has outlined the problem in the OP and what he wants people to do.  This is not a unilateral decision he has made, it was debated and discussed in the BF3 admin section before action was taken.  dMw Council would expect all members to recognise the common-sense in letting Admins do the admin work when they are online.  Anything else is undermining their good work.

If you have specific issues with the way you are being dealt with then may I suggest that as per the forum rules you take up any disagreement directly (ie via PM or TS not in the public forum) with the Game Leader in the first instance.  If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of those discussions then you can escalate it to the Head Admins for final review.

Nobody here is banning free speech, but when an Game Leader asks that players allow our own Game Admins to do the Admining on one of our own servers (as per our own rules) then I'd expect that request to be honoured and not argued.  

Let's all turn the burner down a notch or three and chill a little bit please.  The OP was not a contentious post, so let's not make it into a storm in a teacup.

Id respect the section heads decisions in whatever rules he see fit. And follow them as previously stated.

Tho i stand by my thoughts that we should encourage the members to assist the admins in minor and trivial tasks. But if the admins doesnt want, its up to them ofc.

Please Note Members of dMw Who were NOT ADMINS were taking the jobs of admins tonight of their own accord the "Let admins do their job " Topic is still in effect unless an admin specifically says " Yes go ahead and warn them on an ADMINS behalf as i'm flying a helicopter"  if you are given permission to do so otherwise DONT. At the time of this happening their were two admins on. I was at the time warning & Kicking people I do not need help unless I ask. Please don't get involved unless asked.

I do not want any arguments about this subject as it's not hard to follow and has been set out by the game leader Ninja.

While at the time of this happening you MAY think I was being harsh I was not Typing is different to Spoken word and can be  misconstrued accordingly I was not having a "go" them nor am I now.

I do this sometimes as people pogo'ing about the map particularly annoys me and I feel like I am whining to admins 24/7 about it when they are on as its very widespread lately on our server.

Recently I have been asking people to stop breaking the rules as well as talking to the Admins on TS. Not telling them they will be kicked or warning them but just asking them not to break the server rules. I thought this was being helpful but obviously not =).

I will give backup to admins over in game if needed as there can sometimes be some very nasty excuses for human beings in some servers and its nice to show a united front when needed; but this is more in the form of adding weight to the argument if needed, not enforcing the rules.

in your case Drunken you're on Teamspeak 100% of the time and you say i'm going to put out a message to 'x' player because he keeps bunny hopping personally i don't have a problem with this as we can say quite easily no DZ leave it to the admins on teamspeak if needed but this is yet to happen, only problem being is that it can be confusing to those who don't use teamspeak see you doing it and then begin to do it themselves.


Therefore it is best to just leave it to the admins i feel. Yes there has been alot of rulebreakers lately on the server but thats what the admins are there for. Don't feel like your bothering them by saying who is rule breaking rather have a decent server where people stick to the rules than not.

I was swamped with work so did not see this post earlier, but I am a bit puzzled now. When I was an admin (CSS), I would not mind if anyone else was telling a player not to bunny hop, exploit maps etc., since, well, (a) I was also playing and could not see everyone and everything - and when reported to me I would overwatch and act as needed; and (b) my days as a captain in the IDF are behind me, so I can share the command ;-)

So just to be clear about this: can I or can I not tell a player not to bunnyhop? [of course, I know I cannot ban or kick anyone, since I am not a BF3 admin... we all join dMW server for the way it is played, if it is being played no different then elsewhere, and I cannot tell someone to read the rules or obey by them (without any threat), then something is wrong in Denmark :-)]

Let admins to their job it is an admins job to warn/kick/ban rule breakers no one else's it is always welcomed and encouraged for people to inform admins who the rule breakers are and leave it for the admins to deal with thanks.

You should try & bring any issues to the attention of an Admin LR, if I remember right you never used to have a mic, if thats still the case then I guess it might be a struggle to get the attention of an admin & writing it in chat is gonna be the only way.

LR, I know you have probs with Teamspeak, but it would be handy if you could join even if you can't talk.
At least you would be aware of what the admins are doing (they usually say when they are dealing with someone)
