So after the wife came in from worktoday, she asked, "have you seen the news about blizzard banning accounts?"

If sanctions have been set then there hands are tied.

yea as a USA based company but operate on a global market, they are tied to the same restrictions as any other USA company.
Kinda sad if your a wow player, to attempt to log on, be be told, no sir, you live in a place where our government says you cant have x, y or blizz

Doubly so when you have paid for subscription, only to be told that the same sanctions means you don't get your cash back, or that the company in question can not assist you.

Sad state of affairs; though would have been worse if Blizz had waited a month. Till, say, the 26th September.  Now that would really bite!
