Sorry, but unles they changed how macros work, Dire Beast would never be fired because it is AFTER an ability that triggers GCD. You need to have DB before Arcane Shot

Sorry, but this macro doesnt make much sense.
1) on use trinkets always share CD so cant trigger them both so one of the trinket´s on use effect is wasted
2) you can argue that having both trinket slots there just lets you put your soingle on use trinket to either trinket slots. That would be true if using Synapse Spring hadnt trigger a 10 sec (?) CD on your on use trinket. And vice versa - your on use trinket puts 20sec(?) CD on your synapse springs.
3) you mix there abilities that have wide range of different CDs - from BW and Synapse spring´s 1 minute, to trinket´s 90-120sec (typically), to Rabid´s 2 minutes to pot. SO if this macro worked, it would only be good for bosses like Spine of Deathwing HC where you have short periods of burst time and DPS in the rest of encounters is more orr less irrelevant. For any other boss it would be DPS loss

Anyway, here are some macros I use:

-it only delays Synapse springs slightly after back-to-back BWs after usage of Readiness (typically once per fight)

- useful when Deterrence is needed for less than its normal duration (think soaking of Ultraxion´s Hour of Twilight or triggering traps on Ragnaros)

- picks automaticaly next target if you dont have any(saves you pressing TAB) and fires your Any_Shot

- This is just for super fast target switching (Snobold Vassals on Gormok, Bone spikes on Marrowgar, Elementium Bolt or Mutated Corruption on Deathwing or anything else...
- You can opt to bind Arcane shot to this macro right at the end (this will NOT be your common Arcane shot, though)
- You can list more mobs from one encounter. In this case, higher priority target is on bottom.

Enjoy them.

BTW, dont judge my armory now, it doesnt show my reforges and all enchants that I did last night (I really dont need 12.5% hit :) ) and still shows old boots

BM has already so many cooldowns to manage, the Dire beast macro isn't optimal I know, but it does use the spell. Try it, even if you have full energy, spamming this will first use AS then dire beast.

All-in-one macro: I know you can't use 2 trinkets at the same time (been like this for ages now :p). But really, I can't remember the last time I equiped 2 on use trinkets in a raid environment.. The way you do it seems logical cause of the same cooldown, but when are you using trinkets? imo BW+trinket>BW+engi gloves.

I'm also using the deterrence macro for quite a while now, very useful idd!
Also have 1 big target macro for obvious reasons :D


Anyway, I swapped to survival now, we're still on the first boss & Surv is alot better here due to quite some target swapping.


Also want to add: NeedToKnow is a nice addon to track the IGC on for example trinkets, to line up the proc with potion or other abilities

Using this for Searing Words trinket (85 sec ICD), but other trinkets from bosses seem to have a proc aswel so will be nice for these too

It is fine to have Dire Beast bound to AS. I mean, it is not optimal but as you said, BM already has a ton of CDs to manage so if you are running out of keybinds, use this macro (or get Razer Naga :) )  You can, alternatively bind DB with macro for every shot...
If Dire Beast really is fired with this macro then it is because some of reasons below:
1) they changed the way macros work and you can actually now fire abilities even after abilities that trigger GCD. This doesnt seem likely to me, though.
2) you spam the button. In that case these abilities fire each with different click
3) I dont know :)
Anyway, I would just put DB one line above the Arcane shot.

You are right that trinkets usually have greater effect than engineering glove tinker. But the way you have it written means that tinker is used first, puts CD on trinket so trinket will not be used. Or should not based on rules. Anyway, the main point is that is is not advised to have too different CD lengths in one macro, except for initial nuke macro.

- Fast pet target switching: consider taking Blink Strike talent instead of Lynx Rush for this fight and depending on how far the bosses are from each other, you can bind it with pet´s Dash ability (sure, it costs 30 pet focus), which should be ready for each target switch.

- Need to know is pretty good light weight addon, I was using it in Cata. But now im using JS hunter bar which has incorporated ICD timers, along with CD timers, focus bar, HM alert, Tranq shot alert, Aspect indicator, CC durations.

Guess it's cause of spamming the button :P and putting the DB line above AS doesn't work, it does make more sense but for some reason you can't shoot AS then, only DB every 30 sec.. And I also used to bind it with cobra shot at first, but thats bad cause sometimes when you want energy really badly you'll waste a GCD on DB, delaying a kill command for example. Might be good aswel to bind with serpent sting though, or multi shot..

For the all in one macro, guess it's better then to put '/use 10' below the '/use 14' :) but yea, agree it's not really optimal
 
Blink strike, it's only a 20 sec CD, to get the most out of it you're gonna have to use it asap when its off CD, which means you'll most likely end up using it on the current target rather then actually using it to swap targets quickly. Sure there's dash, but this has a 32sec cooldown so..


And have read more about that JS addon, even though I'm used to my current setup I'll surely check it out, seems pretty nice!

From 5.1 PTR notes
  • Aspect of the Fox has been removed.
  • Steady Shot, Cobra Shot, and Barrage can now always be cast on the move.
  • Lynx Rush has been changed. Lynx Rush is now a bleed effect that causes damage every 3 seconds over a period of 15 seconds, and stacks up to 9 times.
  • Bestial Wrath no longer grants Hunter pets immunity to crowd control effects, and instead now breaks existing crowd control effects when activated.

With these changes we're gonna have some very nice mobility :yahoo:
Lynx Rush looses the burst, but the overall damage stays the same (more of a pvp change)
Bestial Wrath change shouldn't affect PVE that much either I think
