I should be ok, though I cannot remember what it looks like, it seems that my phone has a micro sim too: http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_s-4369.php

I can't justify a Nexus 4 for myself. Not as long as my Galaxy Nexus is still performing as beautifully as the day I got it. It's the best phone I've ever had, even better than my old Nokia 6210 (Compared to the tech of the day) :D
Just rock solid. No hiccups, not even after modding the crap out of it and going back to stock a couple of times (Usually modded right before a new major release, and went stock as the release hit). 4.2 is brilliant :D

Same, looks like their six to seven week estimate is accurate so I'm guessing it'll arrive sometime in the new year.

Are there more people now that have recived there Nexus 4 phone or is TL still the only one here.?
Im still waiting for it and so far heard nothing when its got deliverd.

@TL can you write done your thoughts bout the phone so far and your experience.

TeaLeaf

I was upgrading from an ancient and early HTC Hero, so the process of switching to the new phone was straightforward and once Google got hooked up with my account it synched everything from Google Play/Email/Calendar/Contacts etc.

I was worried by the Nexus 4 size increase compared to the Hero, but actually I've found that the extra size makes it easier to use with one hand.   With my Hero I really had to struggle to bend my thumb back onto the screen because it was so small.  With the Nexus it's a much more relaxed experience.

Pocket-wise, it fits no problem.   I regularly keep the phone in the front pocket of my jeans and it does not snip ma' balls off when I sit down in the car, and it doesn't feel like I'm packing heat, so it's a winner from that perspective :P

Touch screen response is brilliant, as is the default Slide Keyboard (which Whitey tried).

The phone's response time is simply amazing.  It doesn't matter what I already have running or what I am doing, when you tap something it opens up instantly.

SatNav speed is a huge improvement on the Hero.   I get directions before the exit of a roundabout now, whereas my Hero was always telling me I should take the exit that I passed 50 yards back.

The screen is simply georgeous.

I have had no hangs, no glitches, no problems.

Battery life seems good.  I have had mine out for 15 hour days with Wi-Fi on all the time (and regularly used) and still had loads of battery left at the end of the day.

Not sure what else to say really.  Did I mention the fabulous screen?

For the price it is simply stunning.   Buy one.

Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

TeaLeaf

No, Apple's.   :P

Of course I used Google's satnav!

what I meant was, was it Google's own satnav or one off the android market :flirty:

Google's.    It's the default one pre-loaded on the phone.  I usually use the 'mic' button on the front screen and say "navigate to....." and it does the speech recognition, opens up the nav app, selects the route and starts directing you.    Nothing from the store has been added.

I'm really happy with the phone too and I've been using Google Sat Nav and it's worked well for me to the point that I haven't bothered installing CoPilot on it (I've used CoPilot on my tablet for a couple of years). The Swipe keyboard is really good and makes typing so much faster.  As for the screen...not sure anyone else has mentioned just how good it is :flirty:

I've just been upgraded and got an iPhone 5 - I'm using google sat nav too :)

suicidal_monkey
