As the servers are down, it's given me time to play about a bit..... If anyone would like a signature making for their char, or an avatar, or whatever, please post a request in here.  Let me know dimensions, file size, file type, and theme etc and I'll knock something up.  Below are some examples for Midd I did earlier....

Avatar: (100x100)

Really nice work.

For those wanting to use a forum signature here please remember you'll need to be a supporting member, avatars should be 80pz x 80px and signature images should be 500px wide by 100px deep and no more than 20kb in size. Basically exactly as Midd has shown in the illustrations. Anything lager works but gets resized.

Pendice - you asked for your char to be in a certain outfit, I looked this morning and you're not in any different gear on the armory?  Can you let me know when you've got what you want to appear in?  I can either screenshot you in game or steal it from the armory.  Up to you :)

Sneakytiger

But how can I get the signature to pop up at post I post? :p

Right now the signature file feature seems to be broken. Normally anyone who is a Supporting Member (has paid the subscription donation) should be able to use a 500 x 100 pixel image as their signature. Forum users can upload the signature file to this web forum or link to a file hosted elsewhere, using the 'Signature' panel from within their own settings CP. The uploaded or linked image becomes the signature for that forum user. However the feature is broken and it is not possible to upload or directly link to the image. However there is a work around.

There are two ways to have a signature on this forum. You can upload or link to an image file which will become your signature, this is the feature that is broken. You can also create a text signature, like the one I'm using. However it is also possible to add an image to the text signature. The image must be hosted somewhere as you will need to link to it from within your signature in the format http://www.someplace

1. Go to settings (top right of forum)
2. Select edit signature from the left hand panel
3. Ignore the box titled 'Signature picture' but use the one above called "Edit signature"
4. Add any text you like
5. Click the icon for insert image which looks like a little picture frame (middle row sixth from the right, the word 'image' will appear when you hover over it.
6. Paste the link to you sig file in the pop up box and click Ok. You should now see the signature file in the edit signature  box.
7 Click save signature.

Hopefully you should now have a signature image. We're working on finding out what has stopped the sig files from working and will get things back to normal ASAP.
