Have you guys tried that new sentinel, Helios?
It uses melee mods(and does decent damage),also can scan things for codex.

All I'm reading is negative feedback on that one.  Apparently the glaive attack is pretty much useless and there are some issue with the scanning too.

They are definitely not free.

Strange I have all but the Helios and never paid for the sentinel slot or weapon slot.

They cost 12 plat per 2 slots (a new sentinel uses 2), you get 6 slots for free and you have to buy the rest.

I have all but Helios and had to unlock more to take the Djinn from the foundry.

Ah I must have 4 sentinals but bought shade for platinum before I knew not to spend it on stupid thing.
