Me and JAS were playing BF4 last night but don't have premium so couldn't join our server.  I didn't realise that people without Premium can't even play on the maps they do have on our server.

that's odd as sparko only has china rising and he was able to join. I don't think our server is set to premium only.. I'll have a look

Only servers I can't join are the ones hosting the Tarted up BF3 maps, can't remember the name of the expansion but you can only buy it if your premium :(

Friday we had a couple of publics, one of whom didn't have Premium so we switched the server to a non-"Second Assault" map at their request, but they quit at the end of the round anyway. Nobody from dMw came on TS or said anything about maps while I was on, or I would have made sure they could join.

Does this mean if Second Assault maps are in the cycle, nobody without Premium can join, even if other maps are running? That sucks!
