Given the amount of hours I hope to sink into this, £40 seems like a reasonable price to me.

I think I was optimistic when I though I'd get a chance to pick things. The number plate is all capitals and many combinations of the name were already taken. If someone wants to try and knock up another crew with a better version of the name,  please do. Lol.

I'm having such a hard time downloading it. Done it three times via amazon and all had crc errors. Then did it via Rockstar. That's going to take a full 24 hrs. It better work!

There are some sites you can get a cheap key from. The extra money is not so important as I imagine cash will be pretty easy to come by once were on and running robberies together. See what you can get a stream key for. Possible that's your best bet.

For anyone who is considering getting it, i'll have the amazon version available for the LAN. Its a pretty steep download so I can totally sympathise. Took me a helluva long time to actually get a working copy too...

I stayed up last night and played the first hour or so of the story mode.

It's awesome.

I have to say. I'm very impressed. It's both a very fun and we'll optimised game. Looking forward to robbing some banks with you guys! :)

After getting to 60GB on the download last night it just hung up.  On restarting it went to 45GB of 55GB and has been downloading again most of today and still has 5GB to go.  I might get to play it tomorrow!

Pro tip: make sure you have plenty of disk space spare AFTER downloading, so that Steam has room to decrypt the files...
