A lift to a train station would be great :) It looks like the March trains are actually running at a decent speed on the Sunday this time, so hopefully just a short sprint 5 minutes up the road will do it, but if they return to normal service and morph into buses - is anyone going near a station with a fast route into London (e.g. Cambridge/Peterborough)? So I know who to pester on the day :flirty:

Need some help with transport for two.

I should be booking tomorrow (Payday), and it will either be arrivals at Heathrow (9.45 am), or Luton (2.00 pm), both of them Thursday 8th.  No return on Sunday 11th required as we'll be going up North.

Which is the best choice for getting a lift?  Luton is between Heathrow and March, but there is the time difference.  Can anyone help, or is transport to the LAN going to be an issue?

looks to be some cheap transfers from Luton to Stansted if no-one else is able to pick you up?

If it Thursday mate then I think Heathrow is best we seem to have a lot of people turning up then.  Also not sure who is coming from the Luton way.

We sort of pass Luton on the way back from Heathrow to the LAN.  The main consideration though if timing, the earlier flight at Heathrow makes it much easier to align with the other inbound flights, so my vote goes to Heathrow too!

Does someone have an idea on how to go to the pickup zone from Terminal 4 to whatever Terminal number the pickup zone is at?

Have never been to Heathrow before, and it looks massive.

According to the map, we can go down to the underground station and travel to other Terminals and whatnot.

Taking a train from March > Peterborough > Grantham > York.  We booked via http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/.  Decent prices, especially the 11am one with 75 for a first class trip.

As you are early enough it would simplify things for us if you could get to the Terminal 2 drop off zone, but if not then we'll sort you a Terminal 4.  (each Terminal has its own drop off zones, pick up usually need short-term parking, so we tend to pick you up in the drop off zone for that terminal!)

Nearer the time I'll set up a Google Hangout for LHR pickups so that we can all keep in touch.
