They will load (much) faster, but generally the performance isn't noticeably better.

Some games do benefit, Arma 3 for example, but they are the exception.

Don't buy it, Battlefield 5 will be out in 'holiday 2016', so save your money and wait for the upgrade, or the pre-order, or the pre-order for beta-testing, or the pre-order-Platinum package for the early Alpha testing, none of which will come with additional premium DLC which is scheduled to be released only 3 months after the game's release and will cost as much as the original game!

I kid you not.   BF5.   Q4 2016.   :roflmao:

Oh and BF5 is not really BF5, it's more like BF37.  But who's counting?   Only EA's accountants!

Buy it. It's a bargain.
I enjoy playing bf4 especially if you can play it with a few on teamspeak.
Be sure to get premium too though.
And if you are not sure. It's also possible to try it out for free for 48 hrs (it's called origin game time).

Just purchased the premium edition for £16 through Origin.
This is a bargain in my opinion with the expansion packs included: China Rising, Second Assault, Naval Strike, Dragons Teeth & Final Stand. As well as a few extras.

Hopefully you saw the attempt at humour in my post!

£16 is a bargain true Smite, as long as you wait a couple of years after release before buying it!

Certainly did :P
I am slowly getting back into gaming (very slowly) and this was one i had in mind with battlefront. It will take me years to get through this lot :D

Owh yes I did see the humour in your post :narnar:

I read a lot of negative responses regarding bf4, and I wanted to give a positive response.
Because imo it's a good game (and yes it has it's flaws, but which game doesn't have that).

And I don't like how EA brings the game to the market. But yes I do really like the game and therefore buy it regardless even bf5 or bf37 ;).
Seeing at how many hours I spend on bf4, this game was a bargain for me to be honest even with the full price.

The game is very enjoyable if you play it with friends on ts3. Too bad dMw doesn't support it anymore.

BF4 turned into a solid game after a year of extra development work went into it, which suggests it was rushed to market. EA's business practices are getting in the way of producing good products - I for one don't fancy giving them any more money to encourage those practices.

The reason we stopped was simply that not enough people were playing it.   It was a forced rental (thanks for the choice EA) server, so when we had nobody on it for 5-6 nights of the week and few others on the 1-2 nights per week it was used, it simply did not make sense to continue to pay for it.   Each DLC fragmented the community and we ended up below critical mass.

I played the game too, ignoring the bugs, I enjoyed it too.  My beef is entirely with their approach to the community (no dedicated server) and their constant rip-off mentality (bringing the game to market before bugs fixed and then the constant additional charge DLC).    If they issued a DS then the game owuld have lasted much logner as we could have built around it, which perversely would probably earn them more money than the current approach as more people would buy the game!

So, my post was heavily tongue in cheek!

I can only but agree TeaLeaf. And I know and understand the reason why we don't have a server anymore.
We only played on friday, and even then it was difficult to get the server full.
