Went to see this tonight.....epic!!

As the lights went down a member of the audience yelled "leroy jenkins" to much approval of us all :roflmao:

Im a warcraft fairy and for me it was simply amazing watching the game ive played for 10 years come to life. Obviously full of cgi but simply stunning. Lots of extra lore that i havent read or gamed before and it fills alot of gaps.

The casting isnt brilliant and some of the acting is quite poor but the action and fight scenes make up for that. I hope if this is a success they will be able to draw in bigger actors. It was an early showing tonight but 2 screens at 2 times are fully booked which i didnt expect! As i say i loved it and even the missus did :g:....

She hates warcraft, as shes a widow to it and other blizzard games...She has no interest in it at all but came along... She loved it bar the acting lol. She also hopes they make more .

I'd give it 8.5/10 and i think even a non warcraft person would enjoy it.

Nice end to the bank holiday :D
Im friends with the monster under my bed.
He gets on with the voices in my head.

Love is the one thing that transcends time and space.

I went to see it on Thursday last week. They had a pre movie show in the cinema where Sco, Noobwork and a couple of other top WoW players ran mythic dungeons on the big screen, and answered questions from the audience. Logitech were also there handing out free gaming gear to a few lucky seats in the audience.

I wrote a more detailed "review" in the other Warcraft movie thread, but I think Switch summed it up pretty good. You just can't not smile when those huge Orcs smash faces in. Unlike other movies heavy on CGI, you can actually follow who is who, and who is punching who in fights, without needing to be autistic or have ADD.

Nostalgia factor for WoW players 10/10
Fight scenes 10/10
Acting 5/10
