What an afternoon!

So we put the space saver on the flat to find it was pressed up against the brakes and no good. The boys (huge thanks again for the help guys) shot off with nothing more we could do and I prepared to wait 4 hours for the RAC!

As I had a wait I went to grab some lunch and the hotel sorted me out with a great carvery. In the meantime I let my dad know (currently in China) and he told me the space saver is only for the rear wheels!!! I just had to swap the front and rear and all would be well.

2 minutes later as I'm biting into my Yorkshire pudding my phone goes off and the RAC chap tells me he is 2 minutes away. 4 hours turned into 10 minutes. What a legend. We got the car sorted in 5 minutes and here I am finishing off the Sunday roast before making the journey home.

Couldn't make that up! Brilliant.
