Ghost has kindly agreed to pick up albert if he needs it at 10:00.

If albert needs a pickup around 3pm (Hammersmith area), is there anyone that can help him out?

Please only volunteer if you are nearby. No heroic 100+ mile detours*! Although the offer is very kind, no one should be going that far out of their way!

*looking at you sulks, don't think I didn't see that post, nothing gets past me mate :lmfao:

And I can also get to somewhere more useful, like Hatton Cross, not far off the M25. But I will confirm ASAP also spoke with GMjr.

So I'm now coming to lan from London (N1) sometime on Sat, pretty sure that leg of the journey is probably no use to anyone

I'll still be heading back south early-ish on Sunday, so should be fine to do Albert's Stansted run.

I'm home...after an hour an a half drive, the part that failed is a part that was replaced on the 20/04/2018 for 60£ it's failed after about 300 miles?   if that.....(Euro car parts sell really good car parts btw just like argos sells great personal computers) if that.....

I'm not looking forward to going to the garage tomorrow and trying to get my money back ( i have the failed part ,receipt and invoice from aa saying that was wrong) - still not sure where I stand surely should just get my money back right? <- PM me if anyone has advice on this please.

It should be fine for tomorrow's drive if not i'll call the AA out again:roflmao: it's a common problem for the oil pressure switch to fail on the 1.2 Corsa MK B.

Thank you to Cheese & Two bad for their moral support and offering my transport - Very kind & much appreciated.

I'm in very much in need of a pint but i'm doing a night shift tonight into tomorrow morning.

They can't query a part bought in April.

https://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/sale-of-goods-act

"If your claim is about a problem that arose within six months of buying  the product, it's assumed that the problem was there on the day you  received it. It's up to the retailer to prove that the goods were of  satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, or as described when it sold  them."

Really can't see them complaining about a £60 part. A £2,000 turbo possibly but I'd be really surprised they'd blow the goodwill and negatives over a part which was obvioulsy supplied faulty.

Thanks pen for taking the time to help with that post :) and thanks gortex forgot to put that in me last post
