Overwatch Wednesday Night Meet Up

This year a few of the Overwatchers will be meeting up on the Wednesday night before the LAN for some social shenanigans!

This will be a casual affair with just some food and drink at the hotel. The LAN room will not yet be available to us, and PCs will need to be kept in rooms or left in your car boot - I would strongly recommend the former!

This is not limited to the Overwatch regulars, that's just where the plan came from. All members are welcome to join the festivities - the more the merrier!

I will stress again that we won't be gaming, this is a pre-LAN catch up only! We'll get some food sorted at around 7pm, but feel free to rock up at anytime if you're just there for the beer and the banter :norty:.

Finally, please don't book anything until you book your LAN room, as the processes HAS CHANGED. More on that coming Sunday for Supporting Members and Internationals. I'll note that the hotel have very kindly offered to extend the dMw room rates to include the Wednesday night for those that do come along.

For Clarification. Does this mean the room for Wed night is included in the room rate we are paying for the weekend or we pay 1 night extra but at the discounted DMW rate?

Hi Dean, The hotel have kindly offered us the cheaper rate for the extra night. So you pay for the Wednesday night also. HTH.

Yes, Mike is quite right, you pay for 1 more night but at the discounted rate.

For reference, that is £50 for a double room or £66 for a twin (which you share with a mate, making it £33 each). These are per night rates for dMw.

I play overwatch about 5 times a year. I will turn up on the Thursday to hang about and annoy you lot!

What time are you lot expecting to be there? I may travel up on my lunchbreak and *Work* in the afternoon from the hotel.
