Any of you guys going to play a bit of classic?

I know I'll at least go in for a bit and do some leveling (I'm just not sure what class yet).

Some people seem a bit interested in playing it so I think perhaps we should have a guild at one of the servers and on one faction but what one?

The 2 normal English servers are Mirage Raceway and Pyrewood Village.
Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?

Im not sure ill be getting in on it too much

Could be worth a post to see how much interest it will have and any server pref

I won't be playing it.

The people who have posted in the wow section about classic seems to have picked either of the normal PVE realms on different factions, my :2cents: is that we are a alliance guild on retail and should perhaps stick to that mantra in classic (with Dead Men Walking as name instead of Raiding) and perhaps have a poll like this one about what server we should pick. Am I totally of my rockers or?

Sounds like a plan... Hoard/Ally may be worth adding to the poll. That will be the issue that splits players. Or maybe grab horde on one server and ally on another.

See what we get with a poll and make a call

Sounds like a good plan, get folks on the same side.   Perhaps picking Horde might be a nice change for many too as it means different levelling areas.

Seems like horde is the winner by a small margin (damn it :whistling2: ) and Mirage Raceway seems like the winner in terms of server. One thing I've noticed though is that server have a population of high (as do Pyrewood) and the queues for either of those servers will most likely be hours during the first few days but I noticed the other day that Blizzard will launch another PVE server called Nethergarde Keep on Monday that will most likely have a bit lower population yet I'm sure still high enough compared to back Vanilla so perhaps we should go for that one? :2cents:

Population is needed to make the economy work and generally to make the place feel lived in.  I'd be careful of going to a low population server.

Very true, was just trying to avoid the hours worth of queue times we will get the first few days :P So Horde on Mirage Raceway seems like what we will go with unless someone objects (I would prefer alliance but will bow to the masses)
