What I don't get is having bought Destiny 2 and the DLC on Battle.net, it's become a free game and literally they want us to pay near full new game price for the new DLC?

Or am I wrong?

I'm going back in because it's free to play and now it's under full Bungie control I wish to give them a second chance. I too played D2 and the 2 DLC's on battlenet before forsaken but everything was off compared to D1 IMO. Hoping to play it again for free and if I enjoy the content, updates, balances and game play changes i'll happily throw bungie Â£30 for the new content.

Just for reference the base game is 80GB and the new update is rumoured to be another 80gb. I'll obviously wait for release, reviews and full info though before buying.

I've only been playing since the base game was free on a deal sometime around when Forsaken was released, so i missed the start & any problems it had & I have to say I've enjoyed it alot, haven't played anything else at all since really.

Their business model seems to be buy the latest XPAC at full game price and get everything else before for free.
It's an interesting move .... people who really enjoy it keep paying and playing while it encourages new people to take it up and get everything included.

Been looking at Shadowkeep, don't think you get Forsaken content as I can't find reference to it but you do get the season pass. Also found the below if like me you already have the season pass

*Season Pass redeemed when logging in. If players already own the current Season Pass, they will receive credit toward future Seasons up until Season 11. Any credits beyond Season 11 will be exchanged for an equivalent value of Silver.

Most places have it for Â£29.99 but green man gaming email a voucher for 16% off valid till 31st code is "SK16"

God damm it !! Seems worth it for that much though there are a good few more quests and exotic quests in this dlc
