It is that wonderful time of the year again when we have some very kind people and businesses willing to sponsor some real ales or real ciders that will appear at the LAN for your enjoyment at a bargain £1.50 per pint. All of the brews have been sampled by the now legendary beer festival team or pacifically asked for by the sponsor and we are fortunate enough for the hotel being able to supply it to us.

REAL ALE #4

Juicy by Tiny Rebel

Sponsored by: Albert, Kreuz, Januz, Mirianna and Twobad

Another new brew for everyone to try and yes another one from the great Tiny Rebel brewery. Now with this one your in for a treat and I have to say hats off to Oliver Cromwell manager who was able to get us a barrel of this in time as it is very hard to get hold of. Again, this is more a recommendation rather than one that has been tasted at GBBF but has appeared at other festivals. From my personal experience this is the only beer I have ever gone back for a second time during a beer festival because it was so good and different. Even the cider lovers should try this one.

This is really a specialty Golden ale with a ABV of 4.8% although very dangerously it does not taste this strong at all, and if you like Haribo gummy bears or sweets then your going to love this. How they get the juiciest mouth-watering flavors out of the American hops and into this beer is truly impressive and very moreish. Your in for a real treat and I can not shout more about this beer.

Tiny Rebel is really good in my book, had a few of those beers from them when I first tryed them at the LAN. So far  had (all my ratings):
-Clwb Tropicana (4.0/5 from Untappd).
-Cwtch (4.0/5 from Untappd)
-Stay Puft (3.5/5 from Untappd)
-Cali American Pale Ale (4.00/5 from Untappd)
-Hadouken (4.25/5 from Untappd)

And for me the worst: Frambuzi (2.5/5 from Untappd).
.
Still would like to check the F.U.B.A.R. (my very old name)

Tiny Rebel do some great stuff, for those who found the Stay Puft (5.2%) Marshmallow Porter a bit strong I would highly recomend the very light and refreshing Cereal Killer (3%) the Breakfast IPA.
