Yep in the UK it it. But a lot of places put the month first then day, so 2002 would read 02 10 2010. The USA does this for example. Also it works in China as well.
In the UK we do often say it as "February the second" as often as we say "The second of February"  

So while I know they all do it wrong this is the one the whole world can enjoy :)
