A Note From The dMw Admins:
The Admins continue to follow such developments carefully.  None of these possible changes will happen overnight and we will therefore have time to develop a suitable strategy for the community.     This might include reverting to CS1.5, adopting a 'premium' server account, migration to other games, or other options.  Only time will tell.  What the Admins *are* convinced of is that the dMw Community will remain a force, providing you each with at least 100% of your daily recommended dosage of vitamins, minerals and community gaming fun.

my tuppence, in a non-sexual innuendo way.

We really shouldn't diversify from CS as the main game. If we do we should stick to a community agreed single game as the main focus.

I like CS so shutup, yeah but no but yeah but right,..

I agree with Benjamin here, I have absolutely no desire to move away from CS. As a squad based game it doesn't come any better.

The commercialisation of CS isn't a forgone conclusion and will probably take years if it does happen.

On the other hand I agree with TL that the dMw and the TCS game style isn't dependant on any one game. If CS ever did self destruct there are a load of other routes we could take.

My Copy of CZ has just been posted by Play.com.
At least i will get a box to show for it you guys dont have that :( . Here's me wishing i didn't bother now that everyone isn't impressed with it.
Finally arrived today.

3 Discs
1 install
1 play disc :(
1 Halflife 2 Preview....

May install it .....sometime......if i can be bothered.....

smilodon

If, like me, you have it already then it is worth installing it.

CZ multiplayer is better than CS multiplayer. The graphics are better and it all seems a little more professional looking.

There's nothing horribly wrong with the single player game. It's just very average.

All in all 5/10 and not worth the money if you haven't got it yet IMHO

I have not installed CZ yet.. But i have just spent the past 20 mins watching the HL2 disc and was blown away it looks fantastic and i cant beleive things like that could be done in game.

Listing:
G-Man - Various facial feature examples
Docks - This one has been seen before where he walks over a plank in the docks and gets attacked by Zombies
Klieners Lab - People talking and knocking items over.
Trapdown - In a town at night and getting attacked by soldiers (moves various items to block there way, throws barrels and various other items at them, blows up crates to fall on people etc...
Tunnels - cant remember
Barricade - cant remember
Bugbait - make the mutants/bugs attack the soldiers by using bait
Coastline - Superb driving beach buggy
Striders - War of the Worlds or what, large 3 legged machines
Psyche - not worth mentioning

This disc alone was worth it so far.
