Simple!
I personally prefer to play and watch rugby, as football seems quite pathetic to me  :P
Thanks, Pure

Benny

Football is religion for the masses.

Rugby can be more exciting, but it is much less accessible. When was the last time you went down the park for a quick rugby kick about?

When was the lsat time you had a kick about in the garden with your son (or daughter or mates)?

Rugby will never reach the heady heights and following that football has achieved, but football can be pretencious toss. However, to answer your question, I prefer football, I can watch my team score a last minute goal to steal a game (or not in the Man U case). I can act like a child and kid myself I could strike one in off the bar and run off with my shirt over my head. Football, we all still believe we can make it!

So you prefer football for its properties of sectarian disillusionment???

Rugby all the way. More interesting, far more fun to play, and we're actually good at it as well :D

:withstupid: although... a game of touch rugby can be rather fun. Seems to require a lot more effort than 5 aside football though.

however, it's hardly "inaccessible". All you do is buy a different shaped ball. Watching it down the pub is similar to watching football down the pub, only far more seems to be happening, more points, more interesting play. When I go to "watch" football I tend to spend the evening chatting away drinking beer whereas I actually get caught up ni the action with rugby  :narnar:

Got to be rugby everytime.  Footballers are just a lot of overpaid jessies, "Oh he looked at me funny better dive on the floor and roll about screaming", PLEASE!!

Rugby. As to access for a quick knockabout then clearly foottie has the edge. Although spare a thought for the Yanks. Imagine trying to organise a quick after work game of American Footie  with 150 of your mates

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Rugby mainly because my opinion of most footballers is not printable but includes a word that describes someone who throws things a lot  <_<

Rugby to watch, football to play.

Erm, which sport has had to form its own gay league due to its popularity among homosexuals? Football
And why is it a bad thing to have"gays" playing a sport? <_<

Or have I got the wrong end of the stick and are you merely making a comic reference to the physical elements of the game of rugby... <_<
