If it really is for total n00bs though, why would you have a clan? Doesn't it seem contradictory to have a clan of people who can play the game on a server aimed at people who can't play the game?

And why when playing on said server would a clan member make every effort to kill the apparent n00b repeatedly? Where's the challenge in that? It's no different to what a ban was issued for above, but because it's by a n00b clan member it's ok? If I were a n00b I'd have no idea how to plant a bomb, cos I'd never get past the mincer. And this is possibly why I like TCS - the CTs would presumably be defending the bombsites, rather than going on the attack towards T spawn.

If it's a public server for n00bs, I'd expect a bit more balance, and a little less glory-killing by the incumbent players who are probably just trying to wank their stats (which were displayed by the clan member two or three times while I was logged in, so maybe there's something in that).

Agree with tugs, its does seem a little strange to have a clan that hosts and plays a noob server. <_<

May be best if you all just let it drop and play somewhere else. We've all been banned from places in the past (*cough* cbm losers ended up banning the whole clan and even the word eBAD from their servers and forums. :devil: ) and accused of all sorts of crap by stupid wan... anyway if you drag it out it only goes to harm both sides and ruin a good reputation we've spent years building up.

As an ex-cbm member, I can only agree with you JB. What started out as a very friendly clan rapidly turned into something not very nice and that was a big reason for me leaving.....

Thought I would just stick this one here,as its what I am looking for .

A couple of my customers have asked me about playing cs the proper way,but alas they only have source and therefore we cant help them atm.They have done the rounds on the deathmatch cs servers and now want the teamplay aspect.Anybody actually have any ips for such a server(s) or do they not exsist.

hmmm, I'm thinking this should be renamed DanOOB server debate, and another thread started for "good CSS servers" because I need to find some, ...not owning CSCZ is annoying now that dMw have kinda migrated soley to iy. Might have to start playing DoD again...
