I hope all your modems and routers melt :(

On the Isle of Man I have to pay £40 per month for a 512kbps connection, or £60 per month for a 1mbps connection.  Tell me, how is that fair?

My only concern about this is the usage limitations.

It says you'll be restricted to like 0.5 hours gaming per week or thereabouts  on the 1mb service !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not for me....usage limitations was one of the things a asked about

2 meg no limit ...give em hell Pen :P

I guess it depends on what speed you migrate too......

But looking at the T&C if you go for the 2mb service at £24.99 p/m then you'll be able to play about 6hours per day.

The 1mb is hit badley by the T&C

To be honest that sucks big time. If their network can't handle the traffic they shouldn't be offering that sort of service. Definately haggle, threaten to leave etc etc.

After a confirmation call of my conection it seems I *AM* limited to 1gig/day :angry:  Taking into accout that i did ask if i had any usage quota and they said no change

After a bit of a battle this customer of 3.5 years was told he could have a free month.....Quote" this will give you enough time to see if it causes problems before you change to another ISP"

They refuse to put me back to my previous package saying that by Friday all 600meg users will be changed anyway :eyebrow:

I just wish my ADSL provider would upgrade me from 0Mbps to the 1Mbps I'm paying for  :blink:

Just thought I'd resurrect this old thread to let everyone know that my ISP (Plusnet) upgraded my adsl link to 2Meg for free on Friday  :D  8)  :D

Now I need to find out if my PC will run BF2 :blush:  :dummy: :

CPU: AMD 2200+
RAM: 512MB
GFX: 128MB Geforce4 MX440

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

Target just grab a 9700pro of e-bay,about £50,think new there about £70 ish.

Btw NTL's "upgrade" has caused nothing but problems my end.

Well id rather have just .5mb from ntl instead we have 2mb and we have so much damn trouble its always going off tv as well for days.... Which is a right pain in the ass i really do not like ntl but their customer service people are great another 6 months half price package :), i just hope they can just fix these diapointing off days :(
