I hate you all, sounds like its gonna be a beast of a LAN and you picked the one weekend in the year that I'm not in the country!

Is anyone coming from Glasgow, if so I think that a cutural exchange using Buckfast "wine" may be needed.

Whitey you aren't far away are you?

Lived in Glasgow for 4 years and sampled some........

Imagine Ribena, antifreeze and rohypnol mixed together and you'd be a fraction of the way there.

I could bring some Dutch cookies ....

The last time I had cookies from Holland was from a coffee shop in Amsterdam. Needless to say it took me about 3 days to recover  :roflmao:

My g/f lives next door to buckfast abbey where Buckfast Tonic is produced. Incidently that's in devon, so technically you can't bring it if you're from Glasgow as it's not local  ;)

That's where I got married (the Abbey that is, not at your g/f's and not in the Tonic factory)!  And fwiw the 'basic' fortified wine before they add the herbs is much nicer than the tonic imo - the late Abbot used to supply us with bottles (any plastic screwtop bottle he could get hold of) of basic
