Did anyone mention this 'map pack' before now?  Sorry to say but if maps haven't even been chosen and someone throws in a map half of us have never even heard of then i for one wil have to think about not participating.  :x

And before someone says 'well it was mention over at the Xlii forums' i didn't read them so there.   :P

The map pack released form N42, sorry Tactical Gamers is a mix of old maps from their previous map packs and a few new one. I think only one or two were new to me in any case. I think you have most of them actually.

I doubt they will play on any new maps, N42/xlii.com/tacticalgamer.com is tending to play on standard maps these days anyway, so I suspect it will be a bog standard map that is played - so no worries eh?  :D

I'll be ok. But if this is going to go on for several days/weeks/months, then I will NOT be ok. I thought it was going to be just one day, as our tourneys are.

My understanding is that it was just one day - and hopefully a hell of a lot less than 24 hours' worth  8O   Like you, I won't be back if it drags on too long......

de_militia has been part of the N42 map rotation for a long time now.....it may be this map being played....never played it myself

It's played on their server's so we're at a disadvantage to start with and then they spring an unknown map onto us poor Meathook people.   :x

First post here and I am going to take exception to something.

It was a N42 tournament, thus it was run on the N42 server.  The pings, for the most part, looked pretty good.

As for the map, I am sorry it isn't one you guys have on your server, but it has been a standard map on the N42 server for some time now.  It is a small map that 4vs4 teams can easily play.  It is also familiar, even if it is a de map instead of a cs map.

The rules of the tournament, while they differ from clan matches, were mentioned in various threads.  Next time, I will have a single announcement in the N42 CS general forums.

I apologize for the late organization for today.  Like it was mentioned, I was out of town half this week and didn't have access to a computer to update things.  Future tournaments will be organized in greater detail, earlier.
