Well I finally got round to getting it repaired, picked it up this morning.
Ticking again after over 45 yrs in a box.

So far it appears to be keeping time, we'll see after a day or two.

Sorry to say that me and Tox won't be able to make it after all.

I haven't worn a watch for about 25 years, since my last one died and I had one of those new-fangled mobile telephones.

Those that know me will know that I'm more into old stuff, and with that in mind, I'd like to get my dad's old watch repaired so that I can use it.
I'm going to have to start looking for a reliable watch repairer.
