Happy Xmas EVERYONE Finally finished our panic at work. Off to Sarah's parents for 3 days then ALL next week back on the Hook. Have a crackin day tomorrow all and will be filling ya full o' lead after the weekend - hence can't make the tourny, sorry.

Definitely luv this game again now. At 3am last night I finally saved up enough to buy my first speederbike and joined the imperial side for some pvp. Wonderful, but will be back on meathook over next few days as my panic at work is now easing and I'll have more spare time.

I never got to play this map first time round, so I'd like a crack at it. Also, there are 2 maps I've not seen for ages. I forget their names, but they are both hostage rescue, one is set on a dam or power station thingy with 2 outside walkways, one above the other. The other map is in a canyon type thing with the terr's in an underground carpark with a mineshaft and lift between the two. Even if these are gone for good, could someone please remind me of their names just so I can sleep again

I feel I should warn you that I installed Rio in the above way and since then have had a few bugs..cant hit anything, cant shoot straight, miss with an AK point blank and get killed by OB a lot...also my wife refuses me sex, but I  don't see how steam could cause that - I'll check the forums for info just in case

Hiya guys, I was on the server in question last night and pretty much agree with all the above. In a sense, I would put things more simply...CS is a game involving team/solo skill to get the most enjoyment. I don't get any pleasure from "accidentally" killing an enemy whilst shooting at someone else and have been known to apologise for it. After all, that is no demonstration of gaming ability, just a bit of luck. With that in mind, killing through a wall or door because you have had an indication that an enemy is there seems OK, but to reinforce the above, madly spamming in the hope if getting a kill is just random frag hunting, which is not TCS. For what its worth, the player concerned has lessened my enjoyment of the game the past couple of nights, and I know I'm not alone in saying that. He may be using genuine skill, but when his team has a 1 to 3 dissadvantage and still wins, that is not fun gaming, which is why we are all here.
As the new boy here, I hope I haven't offended anybody and TCS is the best thing I've seen in CS for 3 years, but I just thought I'd have my say.
