Quote from: vobler;301167I got my 3-screen setup yesterday, and I'm pleased to say it is up and running. Very tight fit to get the HD5870 in to the case though. It's very big.

I have tried it both in LFS and iRacing. FPS is much lower now than with the 9800 and single screen, but that is due to CPU limitations.

Man I'm so jealous, you're video's are superb :)
You're talking about you're current CPU being a bottleneck, may I ask what kind of specs are you currently running on?

I love to get in on some iracing action again, unfortunately I only have the basic content atm and I would need to resub first (which I can't do right now due to the credit crunch :crying:).

Quote from: vobler;293077A fellow iRacer is just lounching his mod for the G25 brake pedal. Looks good, is easy to install and people (beta testers) seem to like it.

His web page just opened.
http://www.apelectrix.com/index.html

Looks very interesting, just send him an email for some additional information.

By the way, I also found someone else working on a loadcell modification for the G25 : http://www.h-engineering.nl/h_g25press.htm

It's a pit pricey though, well we'll see how it works out :)

I think it's by the guy that also develop the rFactor supra mod, but I'm not exactly sure.

Quote from: Gnomie;292473The net result: I am now able to maintain an (approximately) constant amount of braking when heel&toe-ing! :yahoo: To illustrate, I'm attaching two replays: one old one with the G25, and a new one with the Clubsports. You'll quite clearly see the difference, I think.

Well I checked the replay's, and to be honest I'm quite surprised by the difference, with the clubsport it looks so much more controlled (what i can tell from the inputs).

I'm gonna watch my own replays to see how my brake pedal input looks

I haven't made any mods to my G25 pedal set, but I'm looking to raising the brake pedal in the future.

Great video,really good driving :norty:

I was also wondering about the little tap on the brakes now and then, I guess rfactor and nKP don't model the brake discs that accurately so there's no needs to learn that trick :roflmao:

I've been H&T for about 2,5 months now and it's already second nature. I started (learning) when I was spinning off in almost every corner due to downshifting with the HistoriX mod for rFactor :lmfao: (edit : Like Seany already mentioned)

I do mix up H&T and LFB during a lap, but never mid corner.. I'll have to look into that

Quote from: Gnomie;291817Last week was just way too busy for me unfortunately. Wish I could have been there.

I had a look at the Radiator Springs calendar now, but there doesn't seem to be any scheduled races the coming weeks..? What's up with that?

What do you think about the attendance and quality of racing in Radiator Springs so far?

Quality of racing has been pretty good, but the organization leaves something to be desired. First you have to connect to the chatwindow to hear on which server you have been allocated. That takes some time, especially when the decide to wait if any other guys join. Last time I connected to the chat at 20:50 and I was still there at 21:20 :sideways:

(they ask everybody to be there at 21:00)

To make things worse when you connect to the server you have to remain in the pits for another 5 or 6 minutes, which is really started to irritate me after waiting more then 20 minutes in the chat.

I think I'm gonna drop Andrea (sort of admin over there) an email tomorrow asking him if there's way of sorting these things out.

Oh and they run it in Fullmode so look out :lmfao:

According to graphic overload :D there's should be a race this Wednesday.

Quote from: Doorman;291750Now that's the way to do it! Top job Koert. :thumbsup2:

Thanks :D

Quote from: delanvital;291751Absolutely awesome. Your game btw looks better in details than mine!
I'm running everything at max. with 4XAA, 8XAF @ 1600x1200 85hz (I think, not at my gaming rig right now) :)
Edit : Just remembered that for this movie it adjusted the resolution to 1280x720 to get a better aspect ratio for YouTube.

Quote from: Gnomie;291756Great! :D How many video cameras do you have in the house? :lmfao:

Hmm, maybe I should start using LFB a bit in the corners that don't require h&t.. seems like a good idea, but I never did that before. I use LFB all the time in the F2000, but in all the others I only use RFB. I never use both techniques with the same car, but I can see why it makes sense!

I'd be up for some racing on this combo some day !
I have some more :lmfao:
Well I thought about using an extra cam to film the G25 steering wheel, but I think that would take up to much space in final movie, so I cancelled that idea.

Actually I never thought about the combination of LFB with heel & toe, It's just something I do automatically :norty: I'm a natural :roflmao:
In the sequential shifted cars I solely use LFB, I'm way faster that way. The only time my foot is touching the clutch is at the start :lmfao:

To bad you missed last weeks event at Radiator Springs Racing. It consisted of two races in the F1600 at Crema :)

Quote from: OldBloke;291759Hat's off. Superb job.:thumbsupsmileyanim:
Thanks :)

It took me a while to make, but I'm happy with the result.
I made a multiview movie showing a F1600 doing a couple of laps around Crema test track.

The movie has two picture in picture views, one focusing on the pedals, and one on the shifter. Tell me what you think :D

In the latest beta at what RPM doe you guys shift in the F2000?
I've noticed that in some of the knockout tournament replay's the faster guys upshift faster then I do. (Especially in lower gears)
