Hi all,

First, long time no see - I'm the one who left for TOGA some while ago. Some of you might still remember me  :-) So, currently I am playing BF1 and (some) BF4. However, I have decided to pick up flight sims again.

I currently own to modules in DCS: A10 Warthog and the Black Shark 2 heli sim. I have flown the Allied Force too (falcon sim).

I need a HOTAS setup. Now, I am looking at the Saitek HOTAS..... I did have the X52, but it is gone now.

So, I am looking for this setup:

X55 or X56 HOTAS
Pedals
TrakcIR

Which HOTAS would you go for?

And do any of you fly anything in DCS (might be cool to link up sometime, but I need some weeks to get to grips again with the sims).

This is not new. The difference is in the word micro.... already you can buy different weapons packs and such.

I think that if people want to buy stuff like that, let them. Others will play to get the same stuff. Skillwise it is better to play for the goods. And the battlepacks are not really needed anyway (the good stuff you unlock by playing and getting points).

Let the EA make their money off morons paying for battlepacks. Gives the game longer life, which means more fun for us.

Just got accepted into TOGA. I'll be on the dMw server soon, probably friday next week. Of course, this will earn me doing the dishes at et toga nursery home for about a month, but what don't I do for my old pals...

Hi there mates,

I am sorry to inform you that I have decided to make an application for membership in the TOGA clan.

The reason is simply that my schedule is so that I often cannot play much on the regular dMw BF4 evenings (fridays). I do play quite a bit friday evenings, yes, but lately it has made some serious shcedule problems for me. TOGA has players on almost every night, which means I can fit playtime better into my current work/family situation. I mostly play BF4 (and occasionally, still BF3), and the toga community is a bigger BF4 communty.

Now, I do not take this decision lightly, and I do hope that the dMw guys do not get too dissappointed (or even angry). It does not mean I will not frequent your server, I will.

In the recruitment period of TOGA, I am requested to put on toga-tags. This means I will have to remove the dMw tags, at least in the toga recruitment period (if I am not accepted into toga, I therefore run the risk of being clanless - but that's my risk). The recruitment period in TOGA is three weeks. I do not know if my application will be approved, but I have good hopes.

Again, I am sorry, and I do not take this decision lightly, but as for now this is the better choice for me. No hard feelings?

Yes, I will (if you let me). I will be on the chat channels (google hangout, whatsapp, etc), in the forums and on the server. Only not with dMw tags. I will also continue to support the community by annual donation. I assume I do not have to wear the tags to still be a part of this communtiy...?

Will you still be on fridays (if schedule makes this possible)?
Yes, I will. But not in the toga recruitment period as I think that would be very bad manners. So for the next 3 weeks, I will probably not be on your server. After the recruitment period, I will return (schedule permitting) and crowd your server.

So, whats the difference anyway?
The difference is, I think I should wear the tags of those that I spend the most time online with. So, when I am on your server, I will be wearing toga-tags, not dMw.
