So would i, but what i have seen, this will be a lot less grinding and such and a lot more story driven, plus it is something new instead of wow which at the end becomes boring (if you dont have the time to raid)

My copy has been preordered some time ago and i have planned 1-2 weeks off starting from the 6th of december.
I will be leveling my priest as a healer (disc/holy)

[FONT="]I have been playing this game for a bit as well. My first impressions are very mixed.

The good
It looks very good and has a good atmosphere.
You can play all classes, so in theory you can be all you want and change if needed and have the time to level the specific class (you have a physical level and class level)
The story starts out pretty interesting.

The less good
You get a quest which after some sub quests just stops... Then good luck finding out all you can do.
As mentioned above you just get thrown in there without a decent manual and need to figure out everything yourself. (took me 30 min before i understood how fishing worked and where to equip the lure)
You get repeatable levequest, which reset every 24 hours. But there is not that much variation in those.

The very annoying.
Most of these are to attribute to it being a new game, but some of them should not have been in the retail version.
If you alt tab you crash.
IF you alt f4 out due to lag you get a black screen. At the end you needed to log in in windowed mode, close properly and then full screen worked again.
If you crash when you are on a levequest, the leave quest is failed and the 24 hour timer starts (plain stupid, especially since you are so dependent on those levequests)
control setup. It seems setup for a gamepad instead of a keyboard/mouse combo

Conclusion: (from my side ofcourse)
The game has a lot of potential, but to me it seems it needed another 6 months in development to be playable with decent tutorials.
Maybe this will change the comming month, but i doubt it.

Do you want to go down the 10 or 25 man route?
  At the start I guess it will be 10 mans since people will be leveling.
  Once this is done I personally would like to see the 25 man route again
 
What are your ambitions?
  Top ambition: HAVE FUN
  Second: Pick up raiding again and clear the content whilst being a contributing player
 
how can we help you progress?
  As a guild the members should help each other in the guild instance wise or crafting wise. (with the emphasis on the 5 man  instances)
 
What are your fears?
  Due to the difference in leveling speed, the fast levelers will go seek their raiding elsewhere so raiding will not start at all in Dmr.
  Also the normal expansions fears, ppl switching guild etc.
  The fear that people in the guild stay isolated, while a group of persons has all the fun. (I see this now a bit as well. Some persons have a group within the guild which does all and the rest needs to PUG or donââ,¬â,,¢t do it. If that will keep up a lot in cata it can splinter the guild.
   
  The new expansion does bring certain merits with regards to the recruiting; loads of persons want to raid again.
   
  As with what toon I want to raid. I will start out with my priest but I might shelf that toon due to boredom or other classes appeal more to me.

As far as i know Sinap is correct. Elithuzad was the Original Gong  basher on aszune. (the drama that gave when they started at 3 PM to  prevent server lag, which didnt work at the end)
i heard the same story about Naguar, and read that rant as well.

That questline to get the sceptre is awesome though (try the conversation with azuregos after he is killed). One of the best questlines in game and i can recommend that people try it if they want to invest the resources into it and have the groups to do the instances and such.

Due to a upcomming Business trip to the USA i wont be raiding much this week to prepare for this meeting.
Next week i cannot raid as well due to the actual meeting.

Personally i think the 25 mans should remain locked, but i am not sure if you should keep it saved to the LK. I think keep it saved for a few weeks to get some tries in then reset and get badges and stuff. Also now that OVO left that means a few ppl need to be replaced and a reset will give the opportunity to learn to work together as a team and to see how it all goes.
Let the LK be 10 man for now so all persons know the 10 man tactics and after that focus on the 25 man LK again.

He is a good healer and person and certainly will contribute postive to DMR, be it as raiding or social.
He has my vote.
