This is a phenomenal game. Almost my favourite game ever, but soldat is pretty cool.

I had a few flat spots where I just sit there thinking how the hell am I gonna do that......then I wander off, come back and beat whoever it was. I love it! It helped I went and killed the big beasty dragon for 10000 runes but I'm still dying far more than I should!

Is that the one with the archers, then the melon head, then the fire chuckers? Or stormveil?

Cheers Jas, it's a beast of a game. I'm mooching about on torrent and having the odd fight. It's the crafting and levelling up I need to get into a bit more and finding some ranged weapons.

Right now, I love it!

I've been meaning to get into Dark Souls for ages, so figured I'd give this a punt given the exceptional reviews. I also thought I'll take it slow and prove the world wrong and complete without dying. I lasted 4 and a half minutes.

I've just spent an hour trying to kill some big knight dude in an old village and after maybe 20 attempts I got him down. My reward.....nothing. No big reward, no sudden progress. I love this game.

It's so far from my normal path it's ridiculous, but I've barely left the first area and I can see this consuming my free time for a long time yet. Anyone else had a crack?

That's a lovely watch OB, I know what you mean on the price vs. wearing. There's one watch for me, that one day I'll buy, then I'll be too old to enjoy it and too skint to wear it out anywhere. This is my Eleanor.

In my lonely corridor where I can hear my own voice echo off the walls, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is the best single player game I have ever played. It's rare I complete, I thought it may be repetetive. It's a work of art, pacing, gameplay, risk vs reward. Phenomenal. Please buy it, play it and give yourself hope that single player FPS style games aren't all aliens, fast twitch and crap. (Halo Infinite, you get a pass and come close second, purely for the scorpion).

I'm gutted it's over.

(and vs online is pretty cool too, screw up other peoples games - which is optional)

Deathloop, game of the year in a fair few places and I bought it. (@Albert - how you getting on?)

It's basically a polished Dishonoured sequel with a better/different plot. There's a million places you can go and read the review, but if you are anything like me, you're impatient to get into things*. With this, give it a few rounds (days of in-game play) to let it really come to life. The characters are funny (rare), the gunplay is solid (standard), the plot seems solid so far (standard) and I've not bumped into any aliens yet (thank jeebus - yes I'm looking at you Rainbow Seige).

Really enjoying, anyone else playing?
