Can I please TK Dingo? Just once. Please please please! I want to carve my name into him with an electric toothbrush. Maybe that will keep him from yelling on voice comm on every round start.

For those of you who wasn't on last night he said this at the buy period on Cobble. E V E R Y  R O U N D !

QuoteI think there will be a right rush. I think there will be a right rush. I think there will be a right rush. I am not sure but I am smoking the middle. Smoke in the middle. SMOKE in the middle.

I think I muted him on every map last night ...  :x

Personally I thought that his favourite saying was:

QuoteI'm smoking the roof; I'm smoking the roof; I'm smoking the roof[/b]

It is difficult to confirm this as I had to mute him eventually.  It was either that or kick him from the server.  The latter was more trouble than he was worth and the former seemed quicker.

We were playing de_dust2 at the time he was yelling this and I never did figure out where the roof was that he was repeatedly smoking - unless it is some new potent and imported strain of ganja called "Roof" :?

You see you missed the point didnt ya he had set his PC up at he top of his house as it was a nice evening and getting down to some serious SMOKING ON THE ROOF and as the weed started to work he could feel it rushing in the blood stream and it was RUSHING RIGHT RUSHING RIGHT into the bloodstream.
God that weed was good eh

As far as I know Dingo lives in a Kennel....  With a thatched roof made of Hemp...I firmly believe that Last night he found out he could "Smoke The Roof" and with great
fervor finished of 3 ridge tiles and a gabble-end ….and after all that he would be on a right rush

Btw did anyone ask him to shut up ?

Form an orderly queue. No pushing back there.

I think we should charge a pound a go, would be a masterful fundraising event, we would make thousands. I personally wanted to shoot him at least 689 times last night.  :bucktooth:      -O   :smokin:

Being on the other team meant I, regretably, missed all this jolly banter.

However, I realised that things were maybe getting a little serious when the admin messages changed from:

"Dingo - please lower your mic volume"

to

"STFU"

   :D

I'm sure the guy was just being a little over-enthusiastic.

He's normally a sound PCS player <---Hehehe. Geddit?  8)

I think part of the prob last nite was that there were a lot of non dMw peeps on 1 team. At one point there was me and (I think) Smite on CT with a heap of non dMw guys. The gameplay was going downhill fast so I had a good whinge at them (we had split in 2 groups, half tunnel and half top route on thunder). The team that went top didn't attack when the other half of the team attacked. I was stuck in third place in the tunnel and couldnt get past. I'm afraid I shouted :-)

I then sent some teamsays explaining that we need to communicate and that we need to think about the fact that we want our teammates to live through each round. For a while after that things certainly improved to the point where I decided to stay. I was gonna leave the server early coz it was so dire but changed my mind when they started trying :-)

Dingo was certainly enthusiastic! I can only assume that he was either "on something" or it was a case of "it was my brother" ;-)

Actually I think on my third on-screen warning to him I changed the message to 'FFS Dingo Shut Up', but your version carries the same gist.  :D   I apologise to the MH peeps as I should not have sunk to that level of language for an on-screen message.

I do not believe that I had ever played on the server with Dingo before last night, however having now spoken to a number of people (including other Admins) I understand that he is not normally as 'exuberant' as he was last night.   Maybe next time he'll be back to an acceptable norm.   So we will all give him another chance and move on, OK peeps?

"Move along peeps, there's nothing to see here" said Officer Barbraidy.

And with that, I close this thread.
