Not a cheater, not a TK or TW artiste, but one major PITA with a super loud motor mouth.  

I issued 3 separate on-screen warnings to him about his voicecom spamming - these seemed to temporarily subdue him (for about 30 seconds) and then the verbal torrent began again.

In an impressively short period of time he had most of his team muting him and had destroyed any chance of planning tactics as T on de_dust2 last night.  I muted him rather than kick him, then eventually left the server because I was getting fed up with the verbal response he was triggering within the rest of the squad.   I believe at one point we had 10 Ts against only 6 CTs and were still losing - such is the power of his distraction.  

Seemed unable to stop saying everything in a LOUD voice and repeating it three three three times times times  :x   Also had an unhealthy addiction to 'smoking the roof'.

Hope not to see him again unless he changes his style of interraction with the rest of the PCS community.

Can we put this down to being a friday night and pissed as he is normally a good guy and it would be a shame to knock this guy if it was just one night of alchohol induced verbal spammage.
Also send him a PM and ask him what was going on in a nice manner.

It is only once isnt it??

Some people go quiet with alcohol and some get louder ..FFS i hope sadako doesnt drink :wink:

Thanks for the feedback Smite - I can't remember ever playing with Dingo before, so your views are valued.  I don't mind sending him a nicely worded PM, but as you know him, do you have amy suggested text in mind?  If not I'll post a wording up here for comment before sending anything.  I felt a bit awkward posting my comments anyway because I know I talk a lot on voicecoms and some peeps probably think the same of me!  :oops:

As you know, Meat Hook PCS is a large community of like-minded gamers who enjoy playing CS in a more mature and professional manner.  Players within the community have enjoyed many such PCS games with you on a number of occassions and your presence has added to the community spirit on the server.

Last night you played on the Meat Hook but you were what could best be described as 'more than a little vocally exuberant'.   8O

We know from experience that you are not usually as 'loud' as you were last night and are sure that it was just a one-off - possibly due to a particularly nice bottle of scotch or some potent 'baccy'    - but unfortunately a number of players were sufficiently irritated by your verbosity to make negative reports to Admins, hence this PM.  We are not reprimanding you or making any demands of you, we are just passing on the comments that we received so that you can think about them.

We value your presence on the Meat Hook and hope that you continue to visit the server and post in the forums regularly.  Members like you are what makes Meat Hook the success it has become - if you didn't appear on the servers regularly and post in the forums, you would be sorely missed.  So please do not let this PM put you off!

The above is the message from the Admins, but as I am the one writing the PM, I think I am allowed to tack on a personal question for you!  Where exactly on de_dust2 was that roof that you were continually letting us know you were smoking?  I'll be darned if I could find it!  :wink:

Very good if not a little sucky but excellent you certainly have a way with words.
mine would have been "Dingo you were a little loud last night, if it was down to alcohol then please remember that other people may not have had any and could not understand you   If you did not then please quiet it down a bit as it was a little annoying"

A particularly long day followed by lack of food and far too much alcohol was to blame for the particularly high spirits and verbosity

ps No roof on Dust, Albert took the mickey on the first map and for some bizarre (drunken) reason it seemed to amuse me!!

I've responded to say that I'd let the Admins know and that I didn't think that a public apology was required in this instance.
