to all those playing bf2 over the last few times you will have noticed that im having feedback (loud squeels) issues on my headset.

first off thought it was sb audigy as it didnt do it with my onboard sound and then i happened again

then my son complained that his speakers wernt workins so i unplugged my mic/headset and it did it with his comp

so i put the soundblaster audigy back in and it still did it

then i pulled the foam of the mic and it stopped??????
put it back on and it squeeled again, repostioned foam and no squeels at all

if anyone would give an explation it would be nice

bearing in mind that im a flight systems/ comms engineer in the air force and it stumps the hell out of me

If that's Plantronic Audio 90 then send it back for a new one. It's duff! I had exactly the same symptoms, got in touch with Plantronics via their website and they sent me a new one, no arguments.

DuVeL

Have you tryed adjusting your normal sound from the desktop and tryed resetting the BF2 sound?
