QuoteQuestion:- If i change an smg model into an M4 would that be cheating????

I know this is a strange question but i play better with the M4, i know that the weapon actions are different but i think the models do help.

What do you think???

Take a look here for Clanbase rules

http://www.clanbase.com/ladderrules.php?gid=3&sgid=15

"Custom models and skins are not allowed. This goes for the player models and skins as well as the weapon models and skins. The only exception to this rule is the "high fps" player models which can be downloaded . "

Personally I am more interested in this one:

Except for voice communication programs like TeamSpeak and BattleCom, all programs running outside of Halflife which affect the gameplay are illegal. Everything that alters the gameplay of CS beyond what was originally intended by the creators of the mod is not allowed. This is a pretty global description but we rely on you to know right from wrong.

So they are saying a clan could run it's own TeamSpeak server, all connect to it before a match and converse between living and dead players throughout the match???

This would certainly explain incidents where an enemy appears to know exactly where you are even though you have not even shown yourself to him.  :?  If you ask me there is a comms feature in CS which works perfectly well so why is an external programme allowed in matchplay?

i agree 100% but how would it be possible to police this .....  by us not using a team speak server i think we have a slight disadvantage...the only way to stop is to use fade to black when dead....but i enjoy watching the play when i am dead ...so what can u do.... 8O

Quotefixed chase cams when dead?

Forcechasecam 2 is standard for matches.

However, It doesn't stop a dead teammember using TeamSpeak telling their live colleagues where it was they were blasted.

It's only a very slight advantage IMHO.

As an aside I'm always amazed when the logs show that some teams are still typing instructions and not using any comms  8O

Theoretically you could know where your team-mate was fragged if you keep on the ball re positions on the radar......but only if you are REALLY on the ball. This would make TeamSpeak pointless.

Suffice to say I rarely have a clue where I am on a map, let alone anyone else

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

in a nushell it can make the difference between makin a call for a rush..

ie u can call a rush after u r dead.....which alows u to concentrate on that all important fisrt shot.....i get caught out lots of times halfway through a call for a rush...i must remember to move and call quicker
