Why don't they just ban all other teams from competing.

Pretty much what Mr Ecclestone wants anyway. Might as well make it official.

It's like watching the old ITV wrestling, except McLaren don't follow the script and have to be penalised.

You mean they beat Ferrari?

FIA seem to be doing whatever they can to help the reds :-|

Not sure what the fuss is.
He got his penalty and it ruined his race.

They had an automatic system which caused them problems so they revert back to standard system other teams use.

Don't see an issue.

He got his penalty which was less than the penalty the other two teams got for having to stop for fuel while his teams' dangerous action of letting him pull out into the path of another car (again) and while his fuel pipe was still attached!

In my book the penalties should have been reversed! :boxing:

Lexander

Well didn't he wait for like over a minute or two at the end of the pitlane before they got the fuel line out ? And add to that the penalty, I think that was the right decicion.

And ferrari used one engineer to push the buttons in the eletronic lights, he was too fast...

While everyone else was slowly following the Safety Car.

My point was that his penalty was not as severe as the two who went in for fuel (because they were on empty) when the pit lane was 'closed'.  It doesn't matter that he was waiting for a minute or more, that should not effect the penalty given.

When it comes to judgments against Ferrari they do recently seem a bit unfair.
Caught spying on another team? That's fine we've already punished McClarren so no need to dish things out twice. Stewards decisions seem a little limp wristed towards them too.
They need to at least give the impression that they treat all team equally if they want people to remain interested in the sport.
Causing havoc in the pit lane like that (nearly crashing, draging crew and fuel hoses down) is the sort of thing that should get punished. Safety can't be exchanged for a fancy light system.
