Death Threats

As I am server Admin I see many posts about WoW even though they are in a closed group. However, I am EXTREMELY perturbed to see a thread currently running in the WoW section where people are concerned that guild members are receiving death threats in RL as opposed to as part of the game.

If this is the case then sorry but either the WoW section get a grip, the offenders are banned (perm) or I don't want to be associated with a forum where people receive death threats.

Please make a choice and decide what should be done !!!!!!!

I believe this is the thread ...

From my reading of this it seems as if a member of another guild spoiled one of SoG's raids. The next night Voretex retalliated and spoiled an affinity raid. This prompted a verbal backlash which apparently included death threats to SoG members from Affinity.

Although two senior guild members discussed the issue, it was in my opinion handled poorly by both and has resulted in the Affinity members being reported to the GM (?) for making the threats.

IMHO, the thread needs to be closed with a statement from a head Soggy to the effect that:

1. Voretex was out of line and has been warned about his future conduct.
2. SoG members should not enter into flame wars with other guilds.

Lastly, dMw are champions of fairplay and mature attitudes and are happy to have SoG as our guests so long as they demonstrate those qualities too.

I think it is in the WoW section which is why you can't see it.
