Bravo Application - DeathItSelf

I have been asked by Leon to propose him for promotion to Bravo. Having known him for several years and chatted frequently with him recently about dMw, I have no doubts about his enthusiasm for the tactical way of gaming and I am more than happy to propose his application (below).

There is one particular area where I would like to see him more active, and that's on the forums, so I'll be encouraging him to participate more, particularly getting up to speed on areas that the rest of us take for granted.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to forward copies of the application to Duvel and Doris, so I'll leave it in your capable hands.

I've been playing 7 months but i've played quake and counter striker in my younger days when i was first encountered dogmeat and stryker when the clan was first formed when then i was called Dredd.
I've done five years in the army since then and now i'm trying to get into the fire service, but at the moment i am working for middletons paper company next to rac (junction 9) driving a clamp truck, this is to keep the bills paid.
You could call me a boy racer cause i go to cruises and love owning fast cars that i can afford. I also play football every thursday at goals complex.

In your own words, how would you explain TCS to an outsider?
I would first explain what the tcs letters stand for(tactical counter strike) to begin, then i would tell them that it's all about completing the object of the game as a team but mainly keeping to the rules that are given to maximize the fun and enjoyment of the game as fairly as possible.

What type of player do you think is attracted to TCS?
A player that likes to be involved with everyone on the game.
A player that likes to play the game as a team and likes to help others than doing a solo, remember there isn't a I in TEAM

In the previous question, which of those traits best describe you?
Team player because I like to be relied on.

Which do not best describe you?
Solo player because it doesn't make the game worth playing.

Why do you wish to become more involved in our community? Please state which aspects of the next Company appeal to you.
I want to be more involved in the community because I was one of the first players in it but due to joining the Army i missed out but I really want to get to the next company because i would like to be involved in the matches that take place and make the community proud.

How do you think you would add value to the dMw community if your application is accepted?
I would be on time to matches and would get involved in anything that is going on in dmw if i was allowed to but i would also take on task that are given if need be.

Have you ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did you leave?
dmw but due to joining the army i was removed because didn't have time to play.

Which other games do you play?
I am only just getting in to bf2 but I've not yet played online with dmw but would like to.

What do you know about the applicant? For example, how long have they been playing CS/BF/WoW, what interests do they have outside the playing of computer games, what do they do (work/education etc) and any other information you feel would be helpful in order for the Admins to get to know the applicant.
He played CounterStrike a while ago and had a break because of personal stuff but he's now back. He's an "old" -=[dMw]=-member as he was at the start of the clan playing CS with Doggers & Co.
I believe he has BF2 but hasn't played it much.

Which character traits of the applicant do you think make them suitable for membership or best describe them?
He allways tryes and gives backup when called for. Does the objective and will help out when ever he can.


Which traits do not best describe them?
His VoiceComm isn't working properly. For me it's allways nice to have a chat when dead in CS. To know a bit more from people is for me a pre!


How do you think they would add value to the dMw community if their application is accepted?
He'll be a good TCSplayer and will show people the way to play. He'll represent -=[dMw]=- in a good way.

Have they ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did they leave?
None (Although not sure).


Why did you decide to support their application?
I've been playing alot with him recently and when he asked me to be his seconder I just couldn't say no.
