My missus, has today retired after 32 years with the Essex county council Social Services dept. 'Nuf said! She had a terrific send off and came away with a couple of bottles of Bolly.
So, some good races on dMr despite being punted off and having 'her indoors' pelting my earhole with "My email won't go" etc. We've consumed 4 cans of Becks, one bottle of Piesporter and two bottles of Bollinger. Happy or what?
Anyone that punted me off is hereby forgiven. But I know who you are and rest assured you WILL be punted off in retribution.
I am now getting to the *hic* stage so I'll bid you all a very good night

How can you drink Piesporter? Germans make good beer, but wine? We sell it at work (well sell, more like manage to dispose of one occasionally) and its horrible stuff!

Anyway, glad it all went well, sounds like a good time! Not quite sure if it's congrats that are in order or commiserations but take your pick and have them in full measure!

Damn me! I'd forgotten I posted that. :blush:

How stupid is it to say, in one sentence "You are forgiven! and in the next to say "Blah blah RETRIBUTION"?

Anyway, Arja says thanks for your kind comments and yes, congratulation are in order.

It was a bit embarrassing this morning when we walked past her old office and she flipped them the bird! A bit uncalled for I thought.
