FPS averaging a sweet 9!

Ever since the last frigging steam update, it takes me 5 minutes to join the server and when I get in it's unplayable as my FPS averages about 9.

All my settings are low as low, I am aware my computer is really out of date and I probably should do something about it, but I'm a student.. (self explanatory really!)

Any suggestions? Keep in mind everything is identical to as it was before the update.

Ive been struggling as well since a little while ago, my system while not brilliant used to run a LOT smoother.

I was in the same situation, but not quite so bad as that, i got 10 fps in shooting on chateau, on average i got 60 fps. I ended up getting a new comp in the end. Can't stick with AGP forever. :angry:

I seem to get lots of choke on the servers also recently, i think it must have been one of the steam updates as it suddenly went up one day. I've reinstalled CSS though, so we'll see how it is now.

i get good framerates but choke has been at least 10 for around a month now

Tox's is like animation.....

where you have to draw each frame with felt tipped pens:sideways:

unplayable:sad:

I'll check for new drivers etc tomorrow, see if that helps.
