Well there's a new version coming called Armed Assault.

Here is a quote from the review:

Quoteif you're looking for more conflict against your fellow humans, there's a capture-the-island mode that takes place on the entire island. What's really impressive is that we're told that there's basically no limit to how many players can jump in this mode, so you can have huge teams battling for strategic points on the vast island. Think Battlefield 2 but on an incredible scale.
Wow!

Shame, the models still look like the Woodentops. It was something I couldn't get past with the original Operation Flashpoint. With all the artistic talent floating around the games industry, why do so many soldiers have out of proportion bodies?

Loved Op flash.   Played online once, didn't have a clue.

Yea operation flashpoint was brill online,  my mate used to create maps for it and one map was  just a camp in the middle of a huge map area and he sent in like 500 troops from different angles and it was just me and him vs the AI.  Never made it out alive but was fun. :)   We never went players vs players it was always like just a group of humans vs 200+ AI.

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Bastet

The thing i could get passed w/ the orgininal OP flashpoint is the utter bug ridden state it was shipped in. After playing for a while i found something like 10 points in the first 3 levels where i crashed if i gotten close.
