Iron

I missed the quali, so I started from the last position. It is a good position to make a less stressful start (ie: you're not in the mincer) on tracks like this, and to make a more interesting race.

It has been proven again, that the formulas ain't my thing. I didn't feel myself in control, the car felt terrible for me. I don't know if it was my set, I used an inferno one, put R2s instead of R1s, lowered the pressures, and changed the gears a bit. Perhaps I made it worse, I'm, admittedly, a setup illiterate. Although I have to say that I've never felt myself well in the FOX, no matter the setup, so I really think that it's that simple: formulas and Iron don't mix.

Despite all of the above, I started to climb places, and enjoyed the battles I had with Vobler, Stoney. I even got a new pb, wow, although that must have been the luck. It all looked good until I made a muppet out of myself. I was going to lap Oldie, I catched him at the second to last corner, but the speed difference was so much that I got scared, and in my desperate attempt to avoid hitting him, I spun the bloody car (that was not the only time I spun in the race though, I think there were one or two more occassions). Vobler repassed me, so I had to chase him again. But that dreadful braking zone into the downhill hairpin didn't let me to bring down my prey. I locked my front right there a bit every time during the race, and in the 50th minute of the race, it gave up.

That's my story. A congrats goes out to Deetz for the win, and congrats to everyone else for the podium. :D
