What can I say? This combo's kicking off in fine style. :D I actually get to see other cars as I go round! Terrific racing so far and it's only going to get better!

OldBloke

Looking good Houston. :)

Aquilifer

Great racing. The only bad sides are that it is damn hard to overtake and when someone spins or hits a wall couple of people behind him end up in the same pile.

Too bad I can't race now really. I have a flu or something. My head aches, I feel dizzy, I have fever and I feel real shite.

:nevermind: Voi, voi! My condolences. Tuck yourself up nice and warm and drink your soup.

I'm dreading the T1 syndrome when the 'Herberts' join. Admining will be hard work. But come Thursday we will have whipped them into shape! :norty:

Great race, perhaps my best ever. I did not make any big mistakes, did not lose concentration, I was brave through the chicane till the end, and did not lose time in pitstop, so quite a good and stable performance from me. I think I could raise my standards.

One thing remains to be analyzed: I was relatively slow in those important slow corners before long straights. Did I have too early apex or what is it, I don't know yet, or did I just have too low mid-corner speed? Have to check from the replay and compare. I for example got close to Lameduck, but had to follow him for some laps, because his exit speed from those corners was always way better than mine.

I was expecting to have a close battle with Oldbloke, sad that you had those CTD problems. But do not blame that next time, if you are not prepared to fight. :boxing: :)

Zootoxin

Sooo gutted I got held up at work and missed the hour race :(
I really enjoyed this combo :)

I think the stewards are meeting, with a possible suspension of my licence.

I THINK you got away with it this time. :) Great racing towards the end. I think I drove the last 5-6 laps staring at my mirrors! Concentration kept coming and going, I really had to hang on. Love it, love it, love it! :yahoo:

Aquilifer

The day before Jack.K gave me his set. It was really good and I did new PB at the first lap I tryed it. I drove some laps and even thought the rear tyres heated bit it was no problem in 10 laps. Because it had been normal in most sets before but it had gone away after driving bit more I though it will ok in the long race.

In the qualifying I did again new PB and was 3rd (wohoo) an the set felt really good. But how bad it was going to end up in the long race. The first 10 laps went fine with little less pushing than in 10 lap race. But mid race rear tyres had already very bad grip and especially in the bus stop chicane I was sliding sideways - felt bit like a RWD car. It was actually so bad my lap times had dropped often to 1.27 and I had to push to make 1:26. In the end when the rear tyres got thinner the temps dropped little bit, but then I started to worry if they last all race.

Around lap 10 (or so), I dropped down some 5 places when I tryed to avoid hitting Romus. We were getting to the 1st split corner and he braked bit earlier than I had expected and I had to make panic braking. Result was that even I managed to miss Romus I was sideways in the corner and at least Deetz hit me... sorry mate.

Even the track offered some even racing it had very few overtaking places. You had to wait the other guy to make a mistake and then use it. Otherwise it was very hard to find a place. When I had that panic braking it was just because I tryed to leave bit less safety marging in brakings so that I had better opportunity to overtake. I knew it had risks and this time it didn't work. Actually it was bit stupid place to start risking because there is no overtaking place between that and the last corner.

Congrats however won...was it Three jump? (getting senile) and everybody for finishing.

Seany

man I was looking forward to this race, but i got timed out on lap 4 or somthing, bad buzz :(

But for the week its was enjoyable, had some good races. Congrats to the winner and finnishers.

Deetz

Well I thoroughly enjoyed it, I got caught up in Aquilifer's accident early on when he span in front of me, the resulting damage cost me 15 seconds in a pit stop, putting me right down the order.

Pedal to the metal the whole race got me to the fringes of the podium, and an excellent dice with CrazyR1 in the last few laps really made the race for me, even though I didn't find a way past.

Great stuff, roll on the next one. :D
